The Two Ronnies- Sneezing Wedding sketch

I saw this sketch on TV years ago- just found it on Youtube. It's a comedy sketch: a wedding where the vicar and the bride keep sneezing due to the flowers in the church (a couple of noseblows too).

The best bit is Ronnie Barker making some sneeze-buildup noises while reading the wedding service, and the finger-under-nose sneezes from the bride (which are not bad, compared with most acted sneezes).

P.S. Non-UK forum users might not know who the Two Ronnies were. They were a comedy double-act (Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett) who had a very long-running sketch show on the BBC in the 70s and 80s. They look old-fashioned now, but many sketches are regarded as 'classic' British comedy.

This is a good example- very sharp old-fashioned gag writing. A little bit of casual sexism too unfortunately... but if you are willing to overlook that (it was broadcast about 30 years ago) it's a good sketch.

Wow, that was actually really cute! I hadn't heard of these guys before, but this may have just inspired me to look into some more of their stuff.

Thanks Blah. It depends on personal taste, but I find many of their sketches funny (even if it's a bit old-fashioned, like I say).

And yeah... I like the bride's sneezes too.
