Posting and editing probs

Hi. I don't seem to be able to edit posts, when I try and error comes up. Also, when I go to post something, I have no formatting options, such as bold, italics, adding links etc. The whole site in general seems to be running very slow for me too.

I’ve tried a system restore and a few other things, thinking maybe my comps settings had changed without me knowing or something had uninstalled, but nothing seems to be working.

If it is something that has uninstalled, so you know which program it might be? Or do you have any other suggestions for how I can fix this?

I'm not overly technical, so I apologise if this is no help but which browser do you use?

I've found Chrome or Firefox seem to work best with the forum.

If it's not the browser then I'm not sure what to suggest, sorry

I use firefox. It's the only one I have on my computer, but I could get another and try.

Edit: I installed Chrome and it's working there. I'll post from Chrome for now and muck around in Firefox's settings to see what's up. Thanks for the suggestion
