How Does One Edit Posts?

Pardon my asking, but how does one edit something they have posted? Whenever I view a submission of mine I do not see an option that says "edit" or anything of that nature. Forgive me for seeming clueless, but I just simply cannot find where the "edit" option is located. Any feedback is most appreciated. Thank you to all who have read my concerns.

If memory serves, you can't edit posts while you're still being validated.
