Hey. I've just noticed today that when I go on the SFF, these porn ads are popping up and it makes me feel kind of uncomfortable. On top of that, it's pretty annoying. Is this a new SFF thing or is it a problem on my side? I'm guessing its a problem on my side but if it's not is there any way I can take those off? Thanks.

I'm 99.99% sure it'll be a problem on your side. Try installing Adblock Plus and see if that helps. How to get Adblock varies by browser but you should be able to figure out how to do it via Google easily!

Also, since this website is technically considered a porn website, your internet provider or other websites may take this information and use it at their advantage. So, that maybe the reason why you are getting porn ads. (This website is blocked with my school's internet provider.)

I've tried to access this website on a train and it was blocked for being porn.

N_T check if you've accidentally installed any malicious adware which you often get bundled with other downloads on dodgy download sites.

Ooh, malware sucks. This site used to being up porn ads on my computer, but in my Google Ad settings I turned it off.

Looks like everyone reached this conclusion themselves anyway, but just to confirm. We have not signed up for any ads to appear on the forum, so any pop-ups or similar you get when visiting the site are your browser's own doing
