Hadn't seen it for years! There was a scene where the main character (ronnie corbet) was in a bedroom when a female came in crying. He offers him his handkerchief. She uses the hankie a few times then tucks it into her sleeve with quite a lot of the hankie showing. I found the episode on youtube and took a couple of screen shots. I'll also post the youtube link - the scene is right at the end of the program if you wish to view. It reminded me of my school years when tucking a tissue/hankie into your sleeve was considered "normal". I remember a lot of friends mums and a lot of teachers doing this. A lot of girls at school would do it as well. Doesn't seem so now.Youtube link: Link to comment
