The 29 October 2014 episode of the Irish call-in show Liveline included a segment about Ebola, and could it be spread by someone sneezing on a bus (unlikely!!). This turned into a discussion of the carrying and use of handkerchiefs. Host Joe Duffy carries two and defended this.

I also agree that handkerchiefs are the way to go. And they are the best for fanfics, imo.
