Besides I absolutely rotten cold I caught on Tuesday night...one I thought I dodged...there are a few others at work that seem to be in various stages of this virus or something similar since there is some stuff still going around.

I have to drag myself to work with very little hope of hiding this cold if nothing else than my red nose.

Anyway, I was making a quick cameo to deliver some paperwork when from the top of the escalator I saw "H." From the maybe 3.5 feet distance I could tell she was sick. Her face was flushed and her nose was bright pink. Guessing she caught what her boyfriend had last week.

She sees me and says, "I do, bud I deeded to be here." Once she heard my own congested voice, she chuckled a bit. She had some tissues near her, ready to grab if needed. I should have sent her home, but we were short staffed and she was needed.

Kinda bummed she didn't sneeze, but I have never heard her so congested.
