I think my own cold make me hyper sensitive to seeing other colds, but today was a bit of a bonus.

Real quick background: when I was in high school I caught a cold right before Christmas. What fascinated me was feeling myself get sicker/feeling the cold going on. I went from a slightly scratchy throat to a full blown headcold with a streaming nose, etc.

So, today at work (which was not great for my cold) one of the managers comes in, but not in his suit. Another managed teased him about it and he says, "Man, I think I'm coming down with something. *sniff, sniff* I've had a sore throat all morning."

He walks to his office and I don't see him for awhile. At some point I hear this loud noseblowing. No honks, but I could tell it was him. Not too much later, I hear a harsh... HUSCHOOOOO! HITCHOOOOO! with another blow.

He comes walking around the corner and says, "I gotta go home. I'm catching a mean cold."
