I was on a short business trip in London recently, and a combination of pollen and pollution set my allergies going. Not a lot of sneezing, but suddenly at any moment, my nose would start to overflow, and I would have to grab my large white handkerchief and give my nose a few wet blows.

One time while walking away from St. Pancras station, I saw a man in his mid 20s use a large white handkerchief to give his nose a quick wipe. So I guess I was not the only one.
