Message preview function problem

If you are writing a PM to someone, and you click "preview message", it shows you a published forum version of the message so far. It also gives you a text window to keep writing your message- however the text it puts in there contains HTML tags. This can be a problem, because if you then click "send" on the preview page, you will post the text with the HTML tags completely visible.

For example: suppose this is the text I type in:

Dear SIr,

Please read this serious message.

Yours faithfully,

Heathcliff

If I then click 'preview' and go to the text box to continue my message, I get

<p>Dear Sir,</p>

<p> </p>

<p>Please read this serious message.</p>

<p> </p>

<p>Yours faithfully,</p>

<p>Heathcliff</p>

This isn't a really serious problem but it seems like something the forum software provider should have fixed by now.

I would like to add to this, as I noticed this also seems to trigger with certain words

that I have used from preview mode/more reply options like "expressions."
