Watercolor Daydreams Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Numerous times, when I've researched stories posted on here (by title and/or username) both on Google and using the site's search bar, I've had trouble finding topics. Even if I type the name of the story or topic word for word, it STILL won't come up on google or on the search results when i use the site's search bar. I didn't used to have this problem. Is it because of the recent updates?
Aranea Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 It is because of the recent updates, I think. IDK if Google has updated their rankings yet, but every time I google things related to the site since the recent updates, I just get broken URLs. Hopefully this will change as Google adjusts to the new site!
Via Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 (edited) yeah, recent updates have broken basically every link that was made pre-update because of site restructuring. basically, they took out the /forums/ section of the url/site, which means that all the old links that used to look like this (using this thread as an example):http://www.sneezefetishforum.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=63208#entry706968now look like this: http://www.sneezefetishforum.org/index.php?showtopic=63208#entry706968thus, every link from before the update is now broken. LapidotLover22 Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 I've never liked using the site's search engine. I put in the tags for what I'm looking for in a story, and it gives me stories that have ONE of any of the tags along with a bunch I'm not interested in. Same principle for key words, plus when I do find the story, the words are highlighted, which I find to be very irritating and distracting.

I did find this problem. What I do now is click on the link and erase the "/forums". The link will then work.
