So I was browsing youtube for h/c videos last night, and I came across this caretaking roleplay video. This cute, young guy created a scenario in which you, the viewer, is sick and he takes care of you. To be honest, I couldn't watch the whole thing because I was too embarrassed. This is ultimate fetish territory,and it felt overwhelmingly intimate. But his voice is so soft and sweet! I want this in my life so bad. Well, I'm happy to say that they have improved considerably, in my opinion, because there are now a good dozen of videos that aren't really ASMR (which I hate) and pretty much only roleplaying. I know that most of you felt really uncomfortable and cringed out at first and I did too. But honestly, once I got passed the fact that the guy is talking to me, but not really, and probably kissing his hand to make the kissy noises (I just ruined the whole thing for you didn't I), I'm actually LOVING IT. Also, it REALLY helps if it's just audio and no video. I can't watch if there's video, it's just too weird for me still. The scripts are full of lovely tropes that we, care-taking fiends, adore, like "you are burning up," "oh my poor sweetie," "you really need to rest". All in a deeply concerned (and hot) voice. And it's just... *swoon x 100000000000* So here are my favorites so far, in case anyone is interested to check them out! They're all males because that's my preference, but there are tons of female versions as well, and all types from serious to lighthearted to romantic. There are videos where the person is taking care of you, and others where you are taking care of the sick person (and more often than not, they are recording it when they are actually sick, which is amazing). Also, the good thing is that most of them are pretty gender-neutral since they are talking to "you." (I'm totally wondering if I should write up a script and send it to one of the creators. Would that be weird? I'd love to have a few "bless you" in there and something a little more original than the "sick in bed" situation. Nothing super obviously sneeze fetishy of course. Strangely, I just had a conversation with a guy I work with about ASMR. He was telling me that he likes to watch girls brush their hair and that it puts him in a trance. We started talking about how much more lonely this world gets the more advanced technology becomes, that we could just turn to youtube to find someone to speak kindly to us vs. having those relationships in real life. We also talked about how men really seem to need the visual, quite like porn. Every one loves the women, even women, but everyone agrees the men are better off from the neck down (I can only speak heterosexually). I guess that is why I was so turned off by the first video. I don't need the face to a voice (and the baby talk, and the diarrhea.) I get why you couldn't get through the whole thing @Tangerine. You really should listen to some of the ones @Oolia posted, maybe if they don't have a face, you will find them way less embarrassing. The vitamin C one did make me feel like I was being comforted by Tom from the IT department and the Fever and Love guy sounds like a dad. However, Oaken Audio is really really good. I've never heard anything like it. He's a little corny sometimes, but not that much. His videos hit every note for me. I especially love the touch of the rain, and the sound of the sheets rumpling. The best part is that he sounds like he's actually cool in real life which makes it all the more appealing, and he's not a whiney turd. On the very rare occasions that I have allowed myself to be babied in real life, if said babier were to speak to me like a real baby, than I would have hit them over the head with a lamp (I wonder if that would make good ASMR!?
