Hedgehog Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 After an idea of the German TV show "Circus Halligalli" We all have so much fun with the google translator, right? So, what happens if you take an English song and translate it like from English to Hindu, to Japanese, to Spanish, to Russian and then back to English? I tried it with a famous Christmas song. Can you guess it? An angel of the kingdom of glory throughout the flight wings. Sang in the history of creation, And the birth of the Savior: Hi, I pray thee, Hi, I pray thee, NATO to serve Christ! Shepherd stood in the area Spare sheep in the night A person Eternal light shine on them now. Hi, I pray thee, Hi, I pray thee, NATO to serve Christ! Wise, leaving your imagination 10-ray vision clear idea of them. Nostalgia for the Oh, look at the stars. Hi, I pray thee, Hi, I pray thee, NATO to serve Christ! Saints before the altar And of hope and fear Suddenly the first place, Get in the house. Hi, I pray thee, Hi, I pray thee, NATO to serve Christ! (guesser must "translate" the next song ;))
Dusty15 Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 It's driving me NUTS that I can't figure this out! I have wracked my brain for every Christmas song in existence and STILL cannot come up with it....!
Hedgehog Posted December 24, 2016 Author Posted December 24, 2016 It's Angels, From the Realms of Glory Another try? English - Latin - Igbo - Friesisch - Italian - English The voice of the herald angels sing "Glory to the little king! Peace on earth, and they will find mercy mild, And the grace of God " Glory, all ye nations rise Take part in the triumph of the sky When the sky: "Christ in Bethlehem" Hey! The herald angels sing "Glory to the little king" Christ is the highest Christ the Lord forever; At the end of the year and it is now time, The fetus in the womb of the Virgin It closes the prince of God in the flesh Thanks to Mary, God incarnate If a man and a man who lived Jesus, the Emmanuel Hey! The herald angels sing "Glory to the little king" The sky hail born Prince of Peace! Praise the Son of Justice This leads to life and light Ris'n rise and health in his wings: The glory of his sweet soul Tin Man will not die Born to raise the sons of earth Give them as a form born Hey! The herald angels sing "Glory to the little king" (should be easier this time ;))
count tiszula Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 Oh dear, I actually got "Angels from the realms of glory!" Pity I didn't post earlier, eh? I assume this one is "Hark, the Herald Angels sing" which I was listening to this pm on the wireless And a Froehliche Weihnachten to you!.

Dusty15 Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Ah...that explains it! I thought maybe it was "Angels We Have Heard on High" which is VERY similar but not the same. That one isn't as popular in North America. Here's another....a famous older pop/rock song. There are places I remember My whole life has changed little Not always, but for the better, and some Some survive, some All these opportunities Lovers and friends still remember Some of the dead, some alive I love my life But these friends and lovers No comparable to you And these memories lose their meaning I think love as something new I do not know, I love you The people and things before I know I often stop and think I love my life I do not know, I love you The people and things before I know I often stop and think I love my life I love my life
March Hare Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 English - Dutch - Swedish - Urdu - Maori - English: Merry Prince God Hebbe You should not annoying Jesus Christ, our Savior Born on We are all to protect them from the power of Satan Where we go astray Comfort and joy, comfort and joy message And hear the message of happiness Never thought that would still be so easy.
count tiszula Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Well, It looks impossible to me; "God rest you marry, gentlemen"?
Hedgehog Posted December 28, 2016 Author Posted December 28, 2016 My guess is: God rest you merry, gentlemen, Let nothing you dismay. For Jesus Christ our Savior, Was born on Christmas Day; To save us all from Satan's power, When we were gone astray. O tidings of comfort and joy, For Jesus Christ our Savior Was born on Christmas day. 6 minutes ago, March Hare said: Never thought that would still be so easy. I think the reason is that google translate is based on the English language. The results in other languages are much funnier and farther away from the original. ^^
Dusty15 Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Mine was indeed "In My Life" and I got Maru's too!
