Reporting Inappropriate Behavior (PLEASE READ)

Dear All -

The staff are very conscious of our responsibilities in running a fetish forum that allows people aged 13 to 17 to be members and the protection of all members, but particularly those in that age bracket, is very important to us. Whilst the vast majority of members are decent, friendly and responsible, it is an unfortunate fact of life that there will be a few who seek to take advantage of others for self gratification or other purposes.

It is up to us as a community to ensure that such people are held to account for any inappropriate, or worse still, predatory behaviour. We would therefore urge all members to look out for each other and if you see something that you feel needs bringing to our attention, or if someone is harrassing you or making you uncomfortable, then please contact a staff member that you know and/or trust through PM or inform the whole staff by using the "contact us" feature at the top of the page.

Whenever you contact us, you can be assured that conversation is kept private. Your privacy, safety, and confidentiality is important to us.

We would also be happy to hear from anyone who would like to report incidents from the past. Of course, we will only take action if we are presented with compelling evidence, but just being aware of those that we might want to keep an eye on is also helpful.

Some examples of behaviour that we might consider inappropriate, depending on the circumstances:

  • Being contacted by PM when you have set your profile to "no contact".
  • People trying to initiate fetishy discussion with you, when you have set your profile to "no sneezy discussion".
  • Being contacted by someone when you have asked them to stop (whether you asked recently or a long time ago - no means no, it doesn't mean try again in the future).
  • Adult members trying to initiate fetishy talk with under-18 year old members.

The above list is not intended to be exhaustive and if you have a situation that doesn't fit in with anything listed, it may still be inappropriate and you may still contact us.

As many members are aware, you are also able to block others (for whatever reason) from contacting you. This can be done by selecting "ignored users" from the drop down menu to the right of your display name in the top right of the screen and then completing the relevant boxes. However, some members may not be aware of the following points in this regard - our thanks go to BlackScatter who established that:

  • If you have already started a PM with someone before blocking them, or they have started one with you, they can still contact you via this PM and you will be notified that they have tried to message you.
  • However, if you block a member and they try to contact you through a new PM thread, they cannot do so.
  • Therefore, if you choose to block a member with whom some PM threads exist, you should leave all the conversations and delete them.

We hope that this thread will act as a reminder to us all that we all need to look after each other and ensure that the forum is as safe a space as possible for all members to feel comfortable when interacting with others and to enjoy being part of this mostly wonderful community.

Thank you for your attention.

The Staff
