coughing clerk

I was in a little convenience store/market today, and one of the checkout clerks was coughing.

Young woman, maybe 20-ish.  Not exactly pretty, but not unpretty by any stretch.  Slender, and wearing a snug fitting long-sleeved purple t-shirt.  It was the snug shirt that caught my eye, but the cough that held it.

She was walking toward the counter, and then bent over to pick up some trash or dirt on the carpet in front of the register, which seemed to trigger a coughing fit.

I'm guessing she was sick- it was a sharp, slightly wet kind of barking cough, and she must have coughed for 15-20 seconds, as she finished picking up whatever it was, and walking back behind the counter.
