Embarrassment On The Bus

They’re calming down now, but the last week or two were some bad allergy times for me, with many out-of-nowhere type sneezes. One afternoon I was sitting on the bus when one of these caught me - pretty wet, from both my nose and mouth. I slammed one hand over my face to catch a second, wetter sneeze while the other hand dove for my handkerchief. I managed to get the it up to my nose in time for a final third sneeze, then gave a small blow and discretely cleaned up my face and hand. No one blessed me, so I hope that means no one saw! I kept my handkerchief close at hand for the rest of the ride and then walk home to avoid any more potentially embarrassing explosions.
