Positive Reactions to Handkerchiefs

I’m sure many hanky users here have had someone give a negative comment or look towards our choice of sneeze/blow material, but has anyone had someone respond in a distinctly positive way? A content look, supportive comment or agreement, etc?

I haven't been using handkerchiefs long enough to have gotten many comments.  However, I was in the grocery store the other day and wiped my nose with one of my cotton, floral-printed handkerchiefs.  As I did this, I saw an elderly lady nearby watching me.  I have no idea if it's true, but I like to think she was admiring my "old-fashioned" handkerchief and/or the fact that a "young" woman like me had one.=D  Also, I recently gifted a good friend of mine with some handkerchiefs.  She thanked me profusely and told me she was looking forward to using them,  though she'd never been anything like a regular user herself.
