Share and Share Alike

With the Trading Post relaunched as an area to request files or help finding something long lost, offer to trade or share things and sell media, I decided to add a sub-forum explicitly to actually share files. The size of file you are entitled to share, and indeed your access to this area at all, depends upon your user level within the group here.

It is hoped the sub-forum will be used by many people in the same way Wrigley has recently been kind enough to share sneezing orientated files of all descriptions, from wavs to pictures to videos.

Files will only be hosted temporarily on the forum as we cannot store too many or support the bandwidth used when many people download them, unless people here are willing (as a group) to part with some serious cash and we upgrade our hosting service accordingly. In accordance with this, please only download a file once and save it on your computer.

Files should be posted zipped to minimise their size and posts in this forum will require approval from the staff to ensure that files are both safe and suitable. Explicit or U-18 material may only be shared in the Adult and Junior boards respectively.

Not all files will be accepted, and I have devised an alternative solution to this in the form of e-mail lists that will be run by the forum staff, for the purpose of sharing files. Details of these will appear in another announcement when finalised.
