Willowwhip Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 My problem is that it sucks the will to thrive right out of me. Any time I start to enjoy something I'll be hit with a depression bomb and lose interest
Likesn Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 As someone who has dealt with depression before (snd still does, every now and then), I would like to offer all the support and positive thoughts I can to people here who are dealing with it. Dealing with depression is never easy, and too often people around us, even those whom we care about and care about us, don't really understand it. If I could offer any advice, it would be that you shouldn't feel ashamed of being depressed. The world can be a very depressing place sometimes, and it's perfectly O.K. to feel down because of it. Nobody wants to be depressed, but sometimes it just happens. Try to do things that cheer you up, but don't be affraid or ashamed to ackonwledge and process your sadness for as long as you need. I hope you'll feel better soon and see brighter days.
