You were notified via the email you signed up to the forum with. If that is not the best email to reach you at then please use the 'Contact Us' feature to have the email in your profile updated. While I did notify you via email right after hiding the topic, I will say that it was hidden for violating the rule regarding no adult content outside of the 'Adult Board'.
