iojo
Is it possible to remove the smell of a perfume that one is allergic to and just have like a sneeze liquid spray? Link to comment
•.*°•☆. Q .☆•°*.•
if i understand your question correctly... probably not? the fragrance itself is usually what the person is sensitive to. if the fragrance goes, so too does the reaction. Link to comment
MoonDuck
I'm also unsure that I understand the question but what Q says is correct. Perfume is alcohol with the scent oil dissolved into it. When the alcohol evaporates, the scent leaves with it, so I'm not sure what these is to "extract." The perfume of a scent will contain the strongest concentration of oil while the "eau de-"s like cologne have less. If you wanted to complicate things: Perfumes typically list top, middle, and base notes. If you try different perfumes for a reaction and compare which scents the reaction-inducing perfumes have in common, you may be able to find something like an essential oil that's purely the scent that causes the reaction.
