Colds + Kratom?

Hey y'all! Curious about this one. 

A few of my friends use kratom (a plant that has effects similar to opioids + stimulants) and one of them mentioned yesterday that since using kratom, they've never caught a cold. Another friend piped in that kratom must boost the immune system or something because they haven't had a cold in like 10 years or something crazy like that. 

Does anyone use kratom here? And has it affected your "ability" to catch colds?

It’s a couple of days into withdrawal that I get really sneezy. I’ve gotten addicted to Kratom and quit multiple times. Guess it makes sense with cold symptoms being a part of opiate withdrawal.
