How was this forum created?

Did anyone with web dev skills create this website? Does it use a different hosting website? How does it really work? I know there's mods and stuff but in terms of the site itself like how does it stay on the internet?

I'd be interested to know more about this too, since I work with web stuff these days.

The link at the bottom of the page shows this was created with Invision, which looks to be a provider of forums like ours. But we seem to have our own domain (sneezefetishforum.com) so I'm assuming what we've got is pretty customisable?
