I just wanted to say thank you to all the writers. Whether it’s original fiction, fan fiction or drabbles, your content is very much appreciated, sometimes many years after you’ve written it! It’s the gift that keeps on giving.

A special thank you to @tarotgal because AFAIK, she was the first person to write sneezefic.

I hope to contribute myself in the near future!

This is such a lovely post and I absolutely must chime in and agree.  Every single story represents a labour of love, the effort someone took to craft the words and put them together.  Every single story represents a little piece of the author that they bravely put out there to share with everyone.  And we get to enjoy them! For free! Whenever we want! However many times we want! How wonderful is that?

So thank you to everyone who has ever created a story.  Thank you for the work you put in to creating it.  Thank you for sharing it.

Ohhhh that formatting!  And having to scroll back down to the right part in the story every time I switch windows to find the next part to italicise.  Anyone else put look at italics they’ve used in normal text (not sneezing, that needs it) and go but do I really need that though.  Gotta pay for your emphasis around here haha.

 

This is a lovely thread Solitaire.  I totally concur.  I can’t imagine how many hours of work has gone into the content on here, and I think it can be a bit nerve wracking to share stuff.  It’s so cool that people do it.  And tarotgal - if you read this, hopefully you already know that I think you’re the greatest.  You’re so generous with your talent and your time.  I didn’t know you were the first to write this kind of story but if that’s true that’s incredibly brave and inventive and cool of you.

Agreed. I think it's incredible how many talented writers (and artists and other content creators) we have, and what a wide range of preferences the story collection on here represents. And that it's right here and free. I think we might not quite realise how lucky we are to have access to so much of what is essentially free porn.   And also entertainment in general, as there are some stories on here that are so well-crafted and have so much plot, that it can be read as any fiction. 

It's always nerve-wracking to work up the courage to post, even for some of us who have been around for a very long time, and it's always very comforting to know that people do appreciate the effort that goes into this creative endeavour. Thank you to everyone who continue to create and share, it does take effort and it is scary, but it's so appreciated.

This is probably only working in MS Word, which incidentally is the writing program that I use,   but, if you use the font Calibri and size 11 in Word, and then copy-paste it into the text box here, it keeps the formatting and defaults to this font size. Took me ages to figure out but oh my God it has saved so much time and furious outbursts.   However, having to read the text again makes you realise that maybe the emphasis should be on a different word sometimes, so it's not all bad having to do it manually.

Ooh thank you. I don't have word  but I'm gonna try this anyway (if I have this font). And I'll definitely remember it for if I use a different device. Thank you so much for the tip!

I've tried it from Google docs and that doesn't work, so it might just work from Word, but it does work from there (for me anyway).   Maybe there are other fonts that automatically formats right from other programs, too.

I strongly agree. We are very lucky to have so many people taking the time and making the effort to write stories. Our community is truly blessed (no pun intended) in that manner. As someone who has been writing here for many years (and have been reading stories here for even longer than that), I know how exciting it can be, somewhat even stressful. That is why posts like this are important. We need to show appreciation for our writers. They deserve it.

Absolutly agree! I tried writing many times and kind of gave up because I found it too hard to describe what I really wanted to, and i’m always amazed at people’s talent whenever I read a fanfic or original fiction.
