What was your worst cold ever? (Survey edition):

Hello everyone,
I know this question has already been asked before but I decided to change it up a bit by making it a survey!
Let's go!
The purpose is to answer all of the questions in order to describe the experience of your worst cold ever

1) When did you catch it?

2) How did you catch it? (If you know/can remember of course)

3) How long did it last?

4) How did it develop (order of appearance of symptoms, stages)

5) What symptoms did you get?

6) Did you give it to anyone else? (Also unintentionally)

7) What was/were the most annoying symptom/symptoms?

8) Did you have any lingering symptoms after the cold was gone?

9) Were you sniffling or blowing your nose?

10) if you were blowing your nose, what did you use to blow into?

11) Did you get a stuffy voice?

12) Did you use any remedies to relieve the symptoms? If so, which ones?
 

13) Did you have any secondary infections? (Such as a sinus/chest/ear infection)

1) When did you catch it?

4 years ago, my fisrt college year.

2) How did you catch it? (If you know/can remember of course)

My girlfriend at the time had a sore throat, a week later we were bothe zombies.

3) How long did it last?
Almost a month, counting the sinus infection that came with the cold.

4) How did it develop (order of appearance of symptoms, stages)

well It started for me with a sore throat, the next day maybe a seeze or two. By day 3 my girlfriend hada  full blown cold and I was trying to deny, but my nose started to run. My sweater sleeve could not take it so I bought a pack of tissues. Fever came next day, very mildly with a lot of sneezes and a lot of snot. It went messy all the way until the snot got very thick and I got very clogged.

5) What symptoms did you get?

the sneezing fits in the beggining and thick snot in the end were the most enjoyable things.

6) Did you give it to anyone else? (Also unintentionally)

I probably gave it to a lot of people.

7) What was/were the most annoying symptom/symptoms?

Fever, for sure.

😎 Did you have any lingering symptoms after the cold was gone?

Yes, the sinus infection i caught simply would never go away. I oozed snot for weeks.

9) Were you sniffling or blowing your nose?

where do I begin? Haha! I became a snotty mess, used hundreds of tissues and trashed some hankies too.

10) if you were blowing your nose, what did you use to blow into?

travel packs of kleenex mostly, but I use white hankies when I get sick too. Toilet paper and napkins once or twice maybe.

11) Did you get a stuffy voice?

yep, roght from the start.

12) Did you use any remedies to relieve the symptoms? If so, which ones?
Yes, nasal sprays and advil.

13) Did you have any secondary infections? (Such as a sinus/chest/ear infection)

Yes sinus infection.
14) Did other people comment on it?
My girlfriend at the time saud she was sorry.
15) Did you take any time off work/school because of it?

Not that I remember.

I think it was at least 10 years ago when I was in my last year of school

2) How did you catch it? (If you know/can remember of course)

Too many parties, late nights, shared cigarettes

3) How long did it last?

At least a week plus a lingering cough

4) How did it develop (order of appearance of symptoms, stages)

What started as a sore throat spread heavily into my nose within like 6 hours and eventually left behind a lingering cough

5) What symptoms did you get?

Sore throat, then sneezing, blocked nose, runny nose, and finally a bad cough

6) Did you give it to anyone else? (Also unintentionally)

I think my girlfriend at the time 

7) What was/were the most annoying symptom/symptoms?

I hate coughing

The cough hung around way too long

Back then I tried to sniff as much as possible until I can't contain the mess

Handkerchiefs, plus maybe toilet paper a few times

11) Did you get a stuffy voice?

Without a doubt

12) Did you use any remedies to relieve the symptoms? If so, which ones?

None

I can't remember 

15) Did you take any time off work/school because of it?

No I always soldiered on despite sickness
