My smoke affected voice

Yesterday I spent the afternoon at a friends bbq. 

Although we finally got some respite from the rain, it wasn't too warm so I was sat quite close to the bbq itself. 

Coupled with a lot of talking, the smoke has really affected my voice this morning. 

I sound hoarse and croaky whenever I speak, like I'm in the midst of a cold, but all that's affected is my voice.
