Slow Mornings (Cherik M/M)

They were having a slow morning, legs tangled together beneath the blankets and the smaller man had his face buried in Erik’s chest. It was December, so they didn’t have to worry about fetching antihistamine tablets or Albuterol inhalers for the time being. Instead they were enjoying each other’s company. Until a wet “HEHHH- GSHHIIEEEWW!!” broke the silence. The resulting burst of spray twinkled in the sunlight and the Charles sighed, licking his lips as he turned to rub his itchy nose against Erik’s shoulder. “Bless you libeling” the larger man chuckled gently running a hand through the telepath’s hair. Another wet double soon followed, “I dodhht - kdow whad’s bakig be so sdhh-sdeezy” Charles snuffled as he gave up using Erik’s shoulder in favor of his knuckles. Erik watched as the knuckling paused, Charles’ rosy tongue dropping as his mouth opened, he began to shake his head lightly back and forth. His nose crinkled as he hitched, focused on the feeling of feathers swirling around inside his nostrils “HAESHIIEEWW! SHIIIEEWWW! SHIIEEWWW!” The sneezes were sprayed freely at the wall over the metal manipulator’s bare shoulder and Erik smiled as he felt the cool kiss of spray. This scenario was nothing new as Charles always seemed to wake up with an itchy nose, needing to sneeze desperately until his nose had rid itself of the bothersome particles for the time being. When he reopened his eyes, the smaller man found Erik watching him intently, so he decided to amuse him for a little while. “By dohhze is tihhh-ticklig ligke c-hhh crazy. Ihhd’s bakig be so sdheezy-HIIEEH-SHIIEEWW!! SHIIEEWW! Shiieeeww! Bless be!” As he sneezed he made sure to duck his head, knowing that it drove Erik crazy when he sneezed freely. Afterwards he made sure to give a couple of vigorous allergic salutes (which really did feel good on his itchy nose) and tried to look oblivious to the damp spot on his chest. “Bless you schatz,” Erik purred, loving the telepath even more for the simple fact that he was willing to indulge him so easily. He then leaned in and gave each nostril a delicate kiss, amused as they flared wide in protest. The smaller man’s head immediately bobbed with a wet double that misted the air between them. Inhaling deeply, Erik enjoyed the spicy scent of his lover’s wet sneezes. Charles snuffled adorably and leaned forward to nuzzle into the crook of the larger man’s neck. There he circled his itchy nose against Erik’s flesh before pulling away with a liquid sniffle. The larger man cooed and gently pressed the pad of his index finger to the tip of the smaller man’s nose rubbing in tiny circles. “Stohhp- thad tihhh-tickles!!” The smaller man protested, scrunching his nose in response. Erik grinned and gently began lightly tracing the rims of the smaller man’s nostrils amused as they squirmed and flared in response. Suddenly the telepath gasped and snapped forward with a massive “Huhhh-USHIIEEWW!!” that caused a misty spray to rain down on them both. He glared petulantly at the larger men who smirked before leaning in to kiss his sneeze-damp lips. After they had separated to catch their breath, Charles began rubbing his nose once again, this time with a curled finger beneath his nose. Erik smiled as he imagined how much the smaller man’s sinuses must  tingle as he watched, unknowingly projecting these feelings onto Charles. The telepath’s brow furrowed as the prickly feeling in his sinuses suddenly intensified tenfold and he found himself sawing his entire index finger rapidly back and forth beneath his irritated nostrils. But it was no use, he was going to sneeze again and he resigned himself to the impending fit. Suddenly he was struck by brief lustful feeling and an image of himself sneezing and he internally cringed seeing the spray fly from his mouth and his slack-jawed pre-sneeze expression. Then it clicked, these were Erik’s thoughts… he had been thinking so intently about them that they had crossed Charles’ mental barrier and he was experiencing Erik’s emotions. The smaller man was then shocked by the next thought to pop into his conscious, a very possessive “mine”. Well… this was certainly an interesting turn of events, one that had Charles grinning internally at the thought of how he could torture Erik with his allergies. But back to the current problem at hand, the upcoming sneeze. He could feel the tickle growing, each inhale fanning the flames as he fought to keep his breathing steady. “Gyieh…hhhh-HKSHIIEEEWW!! SHIIEEWW! SHIIEEWWW!!” These sneezes had been aimed at his left palm that had been held vaguely in front of his nose. The resulting sneezes had completely drenched his hand and he wasn’t even finished yet. As he recovered he was struck by an image of him sneezing freely (aimed in Erik’s general direction) and he decided to grant Erik’s silent fantasy. He stifled the first into  a loose fist, a violent “HEH-NGT-chieeww!” Knowing that stifling just intensified the fit, he felt Erik’s worried hand pull at his fingers clamped onto his nose. He took a peek at the taller man’s concerned expression and gave him a sneezy smile. A wet, “HAASHIIEEWW!HAEESHIIEEEWW! HAH-GSHIIEEWWW! HAEEGSHIIEEWW!SHIIEWWW! “ followed, bursts of spray penetrated the air in front of him. To Erik it was like the most beautiful firework show he had ever witnessed, each sneeze with its own sound and visual pattern. He was shocked when he saw a tiny smirk on the telepath’s face, and blushed when he heard Charles’ voice inside his head say “Did you enjoy the performance darling?” Blushing the German smiled an nodded gently running a finger down the pinkened organ on the smaller man’s face. The resulting sneeze was a delicate “H-tshieewww!” that was followed by a wet sniffle and squishy nose rub. Both men grinned and their lips found each other once again.

Jeeeeez this is something I've been waiting to read, I love intimate sneeze interactions between characters like this. Great mentions and descriptions of the mist and spray from the sneezes too! I can't wait to read more from you ❤️
