I start. I'm a trained Library Assistant and currently working in a children's library but changing in January to another employer at a small business in-house library.

Let me know yours.

Wow, that's sounds nice. I'm not good when it comes to really knowing my car but I love driving it. 😄

I'm an student of Fine Arts 😊

Amazing! I was so bad at arts in school, that I specialised in music but I like arts, it's just I'm bad at it.

I'm a software developer, which I've been doing for a few years now.

That's so interesting. I tried to learn code for my work with the kids but I'm so very bad with anything technical including code and more. My printer hates me.

Ehh, it pays the bills.  Skilled trades aren’t really valued in America, especially from my generation.

Oh no, sorry to here that. I don't know if it's any different in Germany, where I'm from, but my guess is, not, sadly.

I'm a student in STEM. Which is fun sometimes and awful other times. Hoping it will give me the opportunity to work with fun stuff in the future, but I'm becoming less and less sure that will actually happen and starting to think that it all is just pain and hours and hours on end stressing over schoolwork to no good 😂 The future will tell I guess. The STEM student's know how to party though, so that's something at least. 😅

Sounds cool - what's your subject? (If you want to say on the forum).

It is quite cool! Like the contents of the education tickle my brain and it's super interesting! Just a lot of work sometimes, like drowning with no light in the end of the tunnel until graduation haha. Unfortunately, I don't feel completely comfortable with sharing the exact subject in the open forum 😔

That's quite understandable. Glad you're mostly having a good time doing it! Good luck with all the work.

Trust in the process.  One day you’ll be thankful that you chose the path you did.

I sincerely hope so! I'm closing in on graduation and I just am so done with it all, and going to job fairs and stuff leaves me feeling kind of... meh. Like, is this... what it is supposed to be??? But I think it might be more of an existential crisis and less about the actual area of work 😅

Wound-Ostomy-Continence Nurse (inpatient wards)

Must be really stressful! Thanks for everything you do! In Germany the Nurses don't get enough money for all they do! It's a shame!

Oh, that's interesting, a life guard! I can't even swim, never learnt it properly.
