Hey everyone, I’m back with a little library piece! This first part is just a teaser for what is to come! - ❤️ Stargazer1122

 

Charles was curled up on his mother’s plush arm chair, the paisley print velvet was pleasantly warm, illuminated by the sunshine spilling in from the library windows. He was reading Macbeth in preparation for his upcoming lesson about psychology and ethics for his students. Beside him was a small end table with all the necessities: a notepad, his father’s fountain pen, and a box of tissues. The last item had been a suggestion by Erik, one to remedy the situations that arose because of the one issue with the Xavier manor, the library’s pension for collecting dust. When Erik and Charles had initially opened the school, they had cleaned the mansion from top to bottom, scrubbing and dusting until it sparkled. Unfortunately, they soon found out a mere week later that enough dust had accumulated in the library to bother Charles’ sinuses after a few hours of occupancy. The previous day the telepath had been reading there for a mere hour before he was overtaken by an intense fit of sneezes that forced him from the room. Since then, Erik had dusted once more, but dust had already started to build up again…
