Paulowno
Hi! I am looking into getting the septoplasty surgery and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this surgery? And if so, I’m having a few questions. • Did you notice a difference in the sound of your sneeze after surgery? • Was there any difference in sensitivity when it comes to inducing/allergies? • Did it affect your sneeziness in general? If so, how? • How long was the recovery and most importantly, how long until you were able to induce again? Link to comment
Dawsio
I had a septoplasty to fix a deviated septum, and I can tell you, my sneezes didn't really change. It mostly kept my nose raw for a few months. It takes a while to fully heal. Link to comment
Paulowno
Were you trying the chinkni or some kinda that type of simulation for sneezes during recovery period? Link to comment
Dawsio
Absolutely not! You gotta make sure your nose is recovering properly for the next few months. Even after that, my nose felt very tender and not as flexible as before. But that could have been just me. I had to have bars in my nostrils for a couple weeks to make sure they healed properly.
