Kidder Posted February 19 Share Posted February 19 The other day I was at a restaurant downtown. There was a group of four people in their mid twenties at the table next to me. One girl had blond hair, a slim build, very pale skin and a larger than average and redder than average nose (which I assume was due to a cold). After a few minutes the girl stopped talking mid sentence and froze with a classic pre-sneeze expression on her face. She proceed to sneeze three times. The first two were very dainty, feminine stifles (ach-tch!), partially blocked by her hand on her nose. The third must have caught her off guard because it was a full bodied, uncovered blast (AACHOO!!) with her hands under the table. She looked very sheepish after that last one and apologized to the table saying she normally only sneezes doubles. Has anyone else observed a stifle fail recently? Link to comment
