I think I'm seriously becoming addicted to this challenge. ;) I've recently found myself plotting possible prompt ideas in the midst of doing other things, haha. Anywho, I bring you all two more drabbles! I'm changing up the series this time, so be prepared! Another anime next to Fruits Basket and Ouran that I really, truly like is called Yami no Matsuei, or Descendants of Darkness.

The manga is FANTASTIC, and the anime, as regrettably short as it may be, is great. The show consists of two main characters - THESE GUYS - who are just wonderful. Hisoka, the smaller one, is a snippy pile of love, and his partner, Tsuzuki, oh my God....where to start? He's a childish, sweets-loving slacker, who has more issues than you can think of. *sigh* I love these boys. :)

So! Without further nonsense on my part, enjoy!

Series: Yami no Matsuei (Descendants of Darkness)

Character(s): Tsuzuki, Hisoka

Prompt: 58 - Annoying

Word count: 100

Five minutes.

The overgrown, childish, imbecile had been calling his name for five minutes straight without a damn break in between. Hisoka tried to pretend that his right eye wasn’t twitching, but even he knew that was a lie. The teen stopped and finally, finally, whipped around with a glare that was very well capable of manslaughter.

What?!” he seethed, bristling.

A pout formed across the features of the alleged “older” male, intensifying the misery that already lay there from an awful cold. The long fingers of Tsuzuki’s right hand lifted, sawing beneath his nose slowly.

“Nevermind,” the shinigami sighed.

Series: Yami no Matsuei (Descendants of Darkness)

Character(s): Hisoka, Tsuzuki

Prompt: 22 - Embarrassment

Word count: 167

“You know, Hisoka,” Tsuzuki began, gazing at the sandy-blond, “even shinigami catch cold. Our healing abilities don’t cover viruses.”

“I know that, idiot.”

The venom in Hisoka’s words dripped in perfect sync with his nose. It was bad enough he got the stupid cold from his partner in the first place. As the youth attempted to sniffle, he visibly cringed when it sounded like some mutated nasal gurgle instead.

An amused smile kissed the fullness of Tsuzuki’s lips, drawing his mouth upward and revealing the white teeth beneath. He had an idea. Taking a clean tissue from the box on their desk, he carefully folded the soft cloth in half and raised it to the selected target. With the stuffy appendage trapped amidst the gentle folds, he closed his eyes into horizontal crescents and said one simple word.

“Blow.”

Perhaps it was a good thing white currently masked Hisoka’s face, lest the moron in front of him see the scribbled crimson mess that tore across his cheeks.

Hi.

I almost forgot I started a drabble thread! I kept seeing other drabble threads, and I was thinking on starting one of my own when I remembered that I already had one. Talk about a total FAIL on my part, right? Anyway, I’ve decided to dig this up from its grave and add some other drabbles. I’ve seen a few other series now so you can expect a bigger variety!

This is my master list of prompts:

1 - Kink :: 2 - Science Fiction :: 3 - Frightened :: 4 - Fake :: 5 – Pencil :: 6 – Squint :: 7 – Misplaced :: 8 – Joy :: 9 - Touched :: 10 – Cough :: 11 – Hot/Cold :: 12 – Sin :: 13 – Care :: 14 – Frail :: 15 – The End :: 16 – Three :: 17 – Never :: 18 – Midnight :: 19 – Promise :: 20 – Fight :: 21 – Pollen :: 22 – Embarrassment :: 23 – Alcohol :: 24 – Mask :: 25 – Mistake :: 26 – Suspicion :: 27 – Disagreement :: 28 – Assignment :: 29 – Purple :: 30 – June :: 31 – Calculating :: 32 – Fall :: 33 – Cry :: 34 – Relief :: 35 – Breath :: 36 – Miserable :: 37 – Chocolate :: 38 – Violent :: 39 – Muffle :: 40 – Swift :: 41 – Run :: 42 – Poison :: 43 – Contagion :: 44 – Tissue :: 45 – Sore :: 46 – Enraptured :: 47 – Wary :: 48 – Pathetic :: 49 – Sweat :: 50 – Gentle :: 51 – Milk :: 52 – Ravenous :: 53 – Blanket :: 54 – Needles :: 55 – Sports :: 55 – Ruin :: 56 – Lovely :: 57 – Hospital :: 58 – Annoying :: 59 – Mother :: 60 – Bike :: 61 – Idiot :: 62 – Puppy :: 63 – Control :: 64 – Unfair :: 65 – Similarities :: 66 – Raincoat :: 67 – Worship :: 68 – Attitude :: 69 – Fuck :: 70 – Confession :: 71 – Floor :: 72 – Remedy :: 73 – Don’t :: 74 – Ego :: 75 – Heartless :: 76 – Lullaby :: 77 – Secret :: 78 – Shut Up :: 79 – Music :: 80 – Grudge :: 81 – Solitude :: 82 – Magic :: 83 – Dirty :: 84 – City :: 85 – Teacher :: 86 – Sky :: 87 – Hypocrite :: 88 – Tattoo :: 89 – Money :: 90 – Childhood :: 91 – Goodbye :: 92 – Victory :: 93 – Weather :: 94 – Photo :: 95 – Rage :: 96 – Internet:: 97 – Fashion :: 98 – Favor :: 99 – Lazy :: 100 – Airplane

Here's a drabble to start things off. Hopefully I'll have more soon!

~*~

Series: Kuroshitsuji II

Character(s): Alois, Claude

Prompt: 73 – Don’t

Word count: 100

There were times where Alois Trancy felt the unexplainable urge to antagonize his butler. Sitting on the demon, who was ordered to lie down on the floor, he loomed over the solemn face that showed no outward signs of emotion.

It frustrated him that Claude was capable of keeping his feelings completely masked – something he could not do.

The golden eyes that stared up at him impassively behind rectangular glasses finally snapped the young master’s thin patience. As punishment, he began to trail the tip of a long fingernail across the spider’s nose, while venomously hissing:

“Don’t you dare sneeze…”

~*~

Series: Kuroshitsuji II

Character(s): Ciel, Sebastian

Prompt: 24 – Mask (This is based off of my drabble, which involved Ciel making Sebastian sneeze with a feather).

Word count: 100

“Sebastian.”

“Yes, young master?”

“Come here.”

Ciel watched as his butler approached the desk. It was a passing thought that prompted the boy to ask:

“Can you...sneeze?”

Sebastian knew such a question had been asked before, yet he also knew that Ciel’s memory was tarnished; he could not remember what had once occurred with the very feather duster he presently held.

It explained the mask of bewilderment the demon intentionally put on. “Sneeze?

“Yes, sneeze. Are you aware what that is?”

This time, however, Sebastian cut to the chase: “Would you care for me to do so, young master?”

You dug it up from the grave! And with Kuroshitsuji too, hooray! Not really a big fan of Alois or Claude (both of them weird me out), but hey, I still got a shiver out of that drabble. Ah, that one story though... It will always have a place in my heart. I hope for more Kuro drabbles and of course anything else you can whip up!

I wrote something - something that isn't a full-out story (even though it's FAR TOO LONG to be a normal drabble), but I had nowhere else to put it, since I really don't feel like spamming the board when I have other stories to finish. :cryhappy: And so, I decided this would be a nice place to stick it in.

This is yet another Yami no Matsuei mega!drabble. The characters are Tsuzuki and Muraki. Look how nicely they play together! ;)

If you haven't seen this series, here's all you need to know: Doctor Muraki is a murderer, rapist, purely evil man obsessed with Tsuzuki. Tsuzuki is a shinigami (guardian of death) and doesn't like Muraki, but has occasional trouble fighting him off. The end.

I was also somewhat inspired to write for YnM again because the manga has finally continued after a LONGGG hiatus! I'm so happy! You'll probably be seeing more of these drabbles. ;)

In the meantime, enjoy!

~*~

Series: Yami no Matsuei

Character(s): Tsuzuki, Muraki

Prompt: 56 – Lovely

Word count: 1,020 (DON'T JUDGE MEEEE!)

“I must say, Mr. Tsuzuki. You have a rather bizarre talent for falling into my traps,” a cold voice spoke to the man that was strapped down to an examination table. “Is it, perhaps, that you desire my company that badly?”

“I refuse to play your games, Muraki!” Tsuzuki growled, struggling to free himself from the restraints that pinned his limbs to the table. The more he moved, the tighter the chains became.

“Oh my,” the doctor said, feigning surprise. “I wasn’t under the impression that this was a game. However, now that you’ve made that point very clear, I suppose it’s my move.”

Tsuzuki watched through narrowed purple eyes as the evil man turned away and retrieved something. He desperately hoped that Hisoka had stayed put instead of following him, because he had a feeling things weren’t going to end well.

Soon enough, Muraki turned back with a single black feather pinched between his long, bone-white fingers. “This feather comes from a creature I’m rather fond of. Are you aware what a tengu is?”

Tsuzuki’s aggravated expression didn’t change in spite of his composed answer. “And if I am?”

Muraki smirked. “There’s no need for hostility. It was a simple question.”

The shinigami said nothing and continued to struggle.

“In any case, this feather once belonged to a tengu – a rather mischievous demon said to live deep in the mountains. I was fortunate enough to come across this feather in my younger years,” Muraki explained, twirling the large quill; it reflected midnight blue in the light.

“What does that have anything to do with me?” Tsuzuki demanded.

Muraki chuckled and began circling his prey like a hungry predator. “Do you know what draws me to your face, aside from your gorgeous eyes?”

Something cold settled in Tsuzuki’s stomach. He didn’t like the ways things were heading. “Th-that’s enough, Muraki!”

But the fiend carried on, as if he hadn’t heard anything at all. “Why, your lovely nostrils. They’re quite alluring,” he purred, extending one of his long fingernails towards Tsuzuki’s nose. “Shaped like finely cut almonds…”

Tsuzuki could only watch and feel as Muraki’s nail traced the contours of his nose. “What are you…?” He blinked, appearing momentarily cross-eyed as he watched.

“Surely they’re capable of pleasing me,” Muraki continued, replacing his fingernail with the tip of the feather.

“St-stop!” Tsuzuki cried, trying to direct his face in another direction.

Muraki, however, would not allow it. He used his free hand to reach out and secure Tsuzuki’s head, so that it stayed in one angle; his fingers dug into the chocolate locks, holding them firmly. “It would be in your best interest to cooperate, Mr. Tsuzuki. You wouldn’t want anything to happen to the boy, would you?”

Hisoka! Tsuzuki thought frantically, ceasing in movement. He valued his partner’s life more than anything, which meant he was fully prepared to do whatever it took to keep him safe. In this case, he would keep still so Muraki could get his sick kicks.

“How very wise of you,” Muraki praised, releasing his hold on Tsuzuki’s hair. “I assure you this won’t hurt.”

Even so, Tsuzuki braced himself for whatever his enemy had in mind. There was no telling what Muraki was capable of. But this…this was strange. He remained motionless as the feather ghosted across his nose. When the tip came close to his nostrils, he snorted out a small puff of air and instinctively drew back.

“Sensitive?” Muraki inquired, amused.

“It tickles…” Tsuzuki mumbled.

The particular choice of words only encouraged Muraki, it seemed, for he drew even closer to Tsuzuki. The shinigami could feel the doctor’s breath against his cheek as he brought the feather to his nostrils again. This time, he drove within one of them without so much as a warning.

“Ahh-haah…!”

The sudden sensation made Tsuzuki’s eyes water. The strong presence of a sneeze ignited and spread like wildfire to consume his nose. Although it was a powerful sensation, it was not enough to develop into anything more than a fierce itch at the moment.

Muraki was delighted. He twisted the feather a little deeper and watched as Tsuzuki’s chest began to heave. “Such a tease, you are,” he remarked, thoroughly enjoying himself.

“Y-you’re thhhihh…the t-tease…hh…” Tsuzuki gasped in between hitching breaths. The feather was working into a particular crevice that was driving him insane. Tears that had accumulated at the corners of his eyes were now slowly rolling down his cheeks. He couldn’t take much more.

Just as he reached that glorious point of nasal release, the feather was taken away, leaving him in insatiable, gasping agony.

“Shall I show you just how teasing I can be?”

Despite the fact that the feather was no longer licking the inside of his nose, Tsuzuki still felt its wispy bristles teasing him. His nostrils, now a light pink in color, wriggled and scrunched with hopes to banish the horrid tickle.

There was nothing more unsatisfying that an undeveloped sneeze.

“Murahhh…M-Muraki…!” he hitched.

“Hmm? Did you need something?” Muraki asked. “I’m afraid it’s a little hard to understand what you’re saying at the moment.”

“F-finish…hhih…” Tsuzuki was barely coherent around his hitching intakes of air. The irritation was unbearable at this point; he wanted nothing more than to forcefully sneeze it out.

“Is that a personal request?”

If his hands had been free at the moment, Tsuzuki would have snatched the feather and finished the job off himself, but being trapped in a sneezing limbo was absolute torture. He was grateful when he felt the feather return to his nose, giving him that final boost.

Eyes closed, chest expanded, back arched ever so slightly, he finally found relief.

Hih’IGHHShhuih!” The sneeze snapped him forward, and he was allowed a second of recovery before another was upon him, misting the air. “Heh’ISHHHksttt!” And lastly, a third. “Igh'SCHHiishhhh!” When Tsuzuki was able to breathe again, he slowly opened his damp eyes and sniffed greatly; he could feel wetness on his nostrils.

Beside him, Muraki smiled and adjusted his glasses while speaking a phrase that completely contradicted his persona. “God bless you.”

Series: Sherlock

Character(s): Mycroft Holmes, Greg Lestrade

Prompt: 29 – Purple

Word count: 182

"I must say, Inspector. I warned you to keep your distance. Quite a few times, if I recall correctly," Mycroft noted, observing the ill man that was sprawled about the sofa.

Lestrade sniffed mightily, though it did nothing to improve his thick congestion. "Who says I got it from you? I could've picked up something from the Yard. Flu's been going round."

"Ah, yes, that is quite true," Mycroft agreed, leaning on the curved handle of his umbrella. "Only, I don't believe you have the flu, do you?"

"No," Lestrade sighed. "I've got a bloody cold. Your bloody cold."

Mycroft retrieved his mobile from his pocket. "Shall I make the necessary arrangements for you, then? You're clearly incapable of working in your condition, and--"

"RDSCHHhhhh!"

"--I can claim with utmost certainty that you wouldn't want to infect your division, let alone contaminate a crime scene. Bless you, by the way."

Lestrade accepted the purple handkerchief he was handed before he snuffled into the monogramed cloth damply. "I think I'll listen to you next time."

The elder Holmes smiled. "A wise choice, Gregory."

DaylightStarr: Yay! Isn't this pairing fantastic? biggrin.png There probably will be a prequel to that drabble. Eventually~

Have some more Mystrade because I'm in love with the dynamics. tonguesmiley.gif It's also ridiculously fun to write these two (mostly because Mycroft is the Queen King of Sass).

Series: Sherlock

Character(s): Mycroft Holmes, Greg Lestrade

Prompt: 78 – Shut Up

Word count: 361

For all of his condescending remarks and generally unpleasant presence (at least whenever Sherlock was involved) Anderson had been right to suggest the Cotswolds as an excellent location to go on holiday. Lestrade had visited once before in his youth, but that was when he'd been far more concerned with boyish ventures, rather than enjoying the peaceful English countryside.

Now, however, he had full intentions to admire each and every aspect of the lush, green hills and sleepy villages; it would be nice knowing that he could enjoy himself without having to worry about his demanding career, along with its associated (and sometimes grueling) responsibilities.

Although, his enjoyment did come at a price. Or rather, at the price of the individual who had seen to their lodgings and general arrangements - the very individual he'd gone on holiday with in the first place.

"Hh'IGHhshh'oo!"

"We could have stayed inside," Lestrade said, turning to regard his companion.

He had to wonder if Mycroft was enjoying himself since the man had spent the past three days buried in his handkerchief, sniffling, sneezing, and casting an aura of silent misery. Not that he'd ever once complained, though.

"That would defeat the entire purpose of a holiday, would it not?" Mycroft replied, surfacing from the cloth that had barely left his tormented nose.

"Not really," Lestrade countered. "There's plenty of things we could've done inside."

And if he was being honest, he wouldn't have minded spending a day indoors. Their inn was a lovely place with delicious sandwiches, cakes, and a well stocked pub.

Mycroft, on the other hand, didn't seem to echo this sentiment. "Nonsense. The point of sightseeing is to actually go out and see."

"Right," the DI laughed, wrapping an arm around Mycroft's waist. "Well, I don't think whoever came up with that considered hay fever. At least, not a case as bad as yours."

"How kind of you for doing so, then," Mycroft remarked, blinking back allergic tears, before another ticklish sneeze had him snapping into his damp handkerchief yet again: "Hhh'IGSCHhhh'oo!"

"Bless you," Lestrade offered. "Not too late to turn around, you know."

Mycroft sniffed. "Gregory?"

"What?"

"Do shut up."

No Mycroft this time. Just Lestrade. This can be seen as a continuation "of sorts" from the drabble on the previous page (entitled "Purple") or it can be its own thing entirely. tonguesmiley.gif

Series: Sherlock

Character(s): Greg Lestrade, Sally Donovan, Sherlock Holmes, John Watson

Prompt: 48 – Pathetic

Word count: 418

His head ached, his throat wouldn't allow anything more than a half-swallow, and his nose was so incredibly sensitive that even the breeze threatened to set it off.

In spite of his ruddy cold, Lestrade attempted to remain composed at the crime scene. He stood off to the side, supervising as Sherlock poked and prodded at the corpse. John was dutifully crouched beside him, offering input while simultaneously deflecting his partner's insults regarding his "normal" observations.

"Looks like she was stabbed to death," he pointed out, gesturing at the multiple gashes that were stretched across the victim's body.

"Obviously, John, but that isn't what killed her. Look at the marks on her neck. She was strangled, though not very well, it seems," Sherlock remarked, tracing the inconsistent bluish patterns that were faded along the woman's throat. "When she was stabbed, it was postmortem. Perhaps to create the illusion that she'd died from a separate cause. However, the stabbing itself looks hesitant, implying some sort of personal relation. A possible boyfriend, yet more likely a family member."

"Right," John huffed, resisting the urge to roll his eyes. "At least I got the stabbing part."

"…RSSCHHhhhuh!--hhr'RDSCHHhhh!"

The abrupt sound of two violent sneezes drew both the doctor and detective's attention towards the man that was resurfacing from the crook of his elbow with a grimace.

"Bless you," John offered considerately.

Sherlock wasn't as polite. He squinted in way that was almost accusatory. "You're ill."

Lestrade sighed and dug a destroyed tissue from the pocket of his coat. "Yes, thanks, I'm already aware," he brushed off, running the ball of white beneath his damp, chapped nostrils.

Sherlock stood to his feet, snapped off his gloves, and then looked at John. "We're finished here."

Turning to Lestrade, he added in a thin voice:

"Strangulation, impaired by arthritis. You're looking for an older man, possibly the victim's husband, or father, depending on whose hands are worse off. Good afternoon, Inspector."

Perhaps it was the physician in him that wanted to suggest that Greg get some rest, but John found himself unable to say anything at all when Sherlock quite literally whisked him away by his coat sleeve.

Beside Lestrade, Donovan spoke up in an amused tone. "Freak's not afraid of death, but he's afraid of cold germs. It's a bit pathetic."

"That's fine. I'd rather he not get sick, if it can be helped," Lestrade replied, sniffing thickly. "We don't need him sneezing all over the bodies. They've got it bad enough."

Eeeheeheeeheee! In my head, the reason Sherlock got all freaked out in that last one is because, being Sherlock, he could somehow tell it was Mycroft's cold Greg had and and he didn't want Mycroft cooties XD

Also: MOAR.
