Deadsh0t
I listen almost exclusively to what my friends say is all sad music. Anyone here has ever heard of Emilie Autumn? Here are a few of her songs.http://www.youtube.c...h?v=xQCAo5tKFyc (Shallot)http://www.youtube.c...h?v=BnPVwCCiyog (Gloomy Sunday)http://www.youtube.c...h?v=f_iptzMstA4 (Mad Girl acoustic)Yes! I adore EA. Mad Girl and Shallot are definately tear-jerkers. I don't so much like the Gloomy Sunday cover, though. 'Thank God I'm Pretty' by Emilie Autumn is sarcastic and funny, but also pretty sad when you really look into what she's trying to say, Link to comment

Smokey
- This one does it every time "Bright eyes" by Simon & Garfunkel, & the movie it accompanied 'Watership Down' was also pretty sad which i think adds to it. http://youtu.be/qtivSTZrezc- 'Time to say Goodbye' by Andrea Bocelli & Sarah Brightman admitly it's only the main version that's sung n English but still the whole song gets you, it was played at my Grandmother's funeral last year whilst we left the church as her coffin was being carried out... & well you can imagine the tears. March Hare
One song that makes me cry like a baby is 'The Last Leviathan' performed by the Fisherman's Friends I saw them perform it live in St. Ives this year, and I was in floods before the end of the first verse!BHAAA I didn't even know there was a version of that out there! I heard that umpteen years ago sung by an Irishman with a great voice and mad skills on the guitar, and I was a child and thought it was his own work (and also that it was called 'The Whale Song'). We had it on tape. It must still be around my parents' house somewhere. The guitar accompaniment was one of the most powerful things I'd ever heard in my life.Thank you for bringing that song back to me. I'll try and find you a recording of the version I knew!ETA: Holy sound, I did find it. It's in the list. http://www.reverbnation.com/larrysean/songs Link to comment

SnuffleNosey
Oh man, I don't usually cry over music unless I'm upset, but I do know some songs that make me kind of emotional/sentimental.I don't mean emotional as in bawling my eyes out, but it's not like that never happens either..... XDThey just make me feel.... stuff.Watching this video made me upset, and the music didn't help much either The song is called "Yozora no Kiseki (A Night to Remember). Phil Collins - You'll Be in My Heart Anberlin - Inevitable Gorillaz - El Mañana Evanescence - Missing Hollywood Undead - The Loss Paul Williams - You and Me Against The World Avril Lavigne - Keep Holding On (it reminds me of my dog because he helps me through a lot) Thompson Twins - Hold Me Now My Little Pony - Luna Forgiven (it's a fan-made song) Link to comment
resolution
Inspired by the book/movie/TV tearjerker topic -What songs make you cry?Or, if you're not the type who cries easily to music: what song or piece of music to you find exceptionally heart-wrenching or otherwise emotionally moving?Youtube links are most welcome. *puppy eyes*Some of mine are- (because my heart has dubbed this my LGBTQ pride song, apparently)..Never heard of Ane BrunYou know that was originally an 80's Cyndi Lauper song? resolution
The songs"Father's Eyes" (makes me think about my dad- he was an absolutely *amazing* father and one of the people whose gifts of love and encouragement I seek to emulate) Liked that song when I was a kid. It was originally supposed to be about about God of course but it's good because can double as a father daughter song. Link to comment
