Trying to get through winter without a single cold!

As today is the Spring Equinox, I can officially confirm that I completely avoided getting a cold during the winter that has just finished.

I suspect this is due at least in part to the extra care we have been taking to avoid contact with people during the pandemic, together with neurotic hand washing etc.

Agreed! I think there have been many people who have been surprised at just how illness-free they have been in general with all the precautions they have been taking. It may be a good lesson for us all to learn from this pandemic.
