Would like help on this as well.

I Downloaded the Rechat Tool software and was able to open it but when I type .\RechatTool -D followed by the video ID number I get an error message saying could not load file.

yup, still there fore me.

make sure you put twitch.tv/videos/.....(video number)

the video number i gave is just the video, not timestamped; if you input the link and you see a "%EF%BB%BF after the video number, delete that part and refresh, it should work

Oh my that is spectacular. The nose twitches, the different types of sneezes when especially when she covered them with a tissue they were more wet. Love the way Portuguese girls speak as well.

Has anyone managed to get the Rechat Tool working on a Mac computer?  At the step where on a windows computer you would right-click and "Open Powershell Window", there is no option to do so on Mac.  I separately downloaded Powershell for Mac and think I set the filepath correctly (but may not have)... but get an error that the command cannot be found when I try to run the script

why would you need it if you have tcd tool? just google "install python 3 on mac", "install pip on mac" and install tcd tool. works perfectly. after txt vod chat logs are downloaded, use for example BBedit to search through them. And yeah, you can always install Windows using Bootcamp or virtual machine  

why would you need one if you have terminal on a Mac? you should use it as a command line lol

Rechat Tool can download only 1 VOD chat per 1 request. There is much better one - tcd tool https://github.com/PetterKraabol/Twitch-Chat-Downloader where you can download as much as there is on the channel per one request

Yeah I've just spent a solid 40 minutes running into brick walls trying to get this to work, it's really not clear at all if you have no programming experience.

I thought I had it to the point where tcd is installed but it just gives me 'invalid syntax' errors no matter what I input.

If you can put together a 2 minute dummies guide I'd appreciate, but I understand that may be a big ask. Thanks for the idea anyway.
