When your fetish was born?

No, you are not allowed to mention it. Any depiction (text, story, image, soundclip) of the sexualization of a minor is strictly prohibited on this forum, and by the law. Next time you have a question like that, contact one of the staff instead of posting in an open forum.

What menstruation has to do with your question, I have no idea. But no, you cannot mention masturbating at ages below adult. I thought we had made that abundantly clear.

I've been lurking at this forum for quite a while now, but finally figured that I'd post more.

I think that I've been strangely interested in sneezing since I was 7, but like a lot of people, didn't know about it being a "fetish" until my early teens (thanks to Tarotgal's page). I still remember when I was seven when I was very good friends with a boy who I later knew had allergies. Every time he has a sneezing fit, I'd feel all uncomfortable and embarrassed without understanding why. Once, I just ran away from him during one of his fits for no reason and he followed me (still sneezing) thinking that I was just playing with him.

Ha, innocent old days. 8)

In comparison to you, it took me very long to discover my fetish. Since I knew what hay fever was, I was always interested in this subject (not suffering from hay fever myself), but not really from a fetish point of view. When I was 29 years old (!), I worked together in my company with a woman I liked very much, and she suffered from hay fever. Then I discovered that her sneezing (as well as the other hay fever symptoms) did something special to me. Probably I would have discovered the fetish earlier if I had met such a lovely sneezy woman earlier, but that's how it was.

And to find out how "popular" the sneeze fetish is, it took me fourteen more years. ;)

My username is based on a children's story I was fascinated with as a child, about an elephant with hayfever named Blessu.

I was 11 when I realised what the "special feeling" was. I was reading a story where a character inhaled pepper and tried(unsuccessfully) to hold back a sneeze. My reaction was just overwhelming.

I've been secretly looking at sneezing material on the internet for a couple of years now.

I just remembered this thing right now!! :)

When I was in primary school, I must have been 6 years old, the teacher gave us a paper on which there were these round faces with the mouth open. It was for learning the vocals, I remember I loved that paper because each vocal was the beginngin of a sneeze.

For example

the A was: aaaaachoo

the E was: eecchoo

the I was: iiichooo

the Owas: ochoo (yeah, quite strange but I enjoyed that sound too)

the U was: uchooo

and I used to play this thing in my mind getting all fuzzy about it but didn't know why :D

My fetish started when i was about 4 or 5. I remember making all of my friends make believe they were sick or i was sick and we would be taking care of one another. I also remember Kermit The Frog sneezing and that was the first time I realised I liked it. I remember getting a "funny feeling" even when i was little. However, that hardly ever happened.

I really started discovering it was an actual fetish in 6th grade. My crush had a really jucy cold all of AIMS testing week and i was lucky enought to sit next to him the entire week.

The first time I remember enjoying sneezes is when I was laying in the back yard and inducing with blades of grass - I remember doing it and thinking, "This must be what that 'special feeling' feels like."

I never told anyone, and ever since I saw the movie The Majestic, hiccups and sneezing have been linked together in my mind as, "things I really like to think about but will never tell anyone about, ever." Then a few days ago I was googling a phrase, trying to find something with my favorite character sneezing, and found this site - the awesome thing is, I'm sure many of you know what a fantastic relief it is to be able to talk about it, and to know I'm not the only person in the world who has such a fixation. I never even connected it with the word 'fetish', but since joining this site I've found it's accurate.

Someone sneezed in the computer lab today, though, and it didn't really effect me - I think it's easiest to let myself enjoy it when it's a fictional character, but I'm getting a bit off topic now. :-)

Reading all these is really interesting!

I dOn't think there was a defining moment when I knew it was a fetish. From when I was very young I always felt a bit weird about sneezing in front of people and embarassed when people talked about it. But I remember watching the Sneezy bits in Disney's Snow White over and over again. It didn't really feature too much in my life again until I was about 15 apart from feeling a bit funny when I saw someone I thought was cute sneeze or when someone on tv sneezed. Then I saw THAT episode of Smallville. ;) I have a huge crush on Tom Welling so that was when I first realised that it wasn't just a "weird feeling." I started looking up videos on youtube and eventually found this forum. And the rest is history!

Okay..... so, when I was in kindergarten I had this game I liked to play with my best friend. Basically we would cook each other... then eat each other.... weird games 5-year-olds play. Anyway, I use to LOVE to sprinkle imaginary pepper on her and make her pretend to sneeze... I'm, not sure what I liked so much about it... I think I liked the action-re-action bit to it, the if I do this you do that. I also liked feeling like I had "power" over her, I think :) and that she "Couldn't help it"

When I was in elementary school I had this friend who was allergic to dust... and I use to try to accidentally stir up dust to make her sneeze. Again I liked the feeling of... of power :blushing: of her having this "weakness" that I was immune to. I was disappointed that it was not as automatic as my pepper game.

When I was a little older I invented this like... writing stories in my head on my longish walks to school... and in these stories a plague swept the world and everyone was allergic to flowers but me. In "let's pretend" games with my friends I would try to sneak sneezing into the plot. Usually in a way I could force them to sneeze by waving a flower at them or something similar. again it was about the power over them (which makes me feel like a jerk).... and about the fact that they could not help it.

When I was in Jr. high and high school I would play a lot of role playing games with my best friends... kind of a mix between lets pretend and story writing.... I'd always try to get a plot going where someone would have to try not to sneeze... often the sneezing when hiding thing, you know... I had this one story where Vinnie (A biker mouse from mars who is allergic to cats) adopts this little girl who IS a cat.... and my love for "being allergic to a person who you love anyway" was born. To this day that is one of my favorite fantasies... I also tried very much to build a lot of caring and hurt/comfort into these stories.... but I digress.

Once in a "story" I was running I had my character "sneeze" for some reason. The.... :blushing: :blushing: :blushing: the deep breaths, the "huh-HuH-HUUUUH!" before a really theatrical cartoon-type sneeze intensified.... the.... feeling.... and I.... really liked it. So I began to do it more often, incorporating it into most of my "stories"... and so... I began to associate that "special feeling" with sneezing. I didn't do anything.... sexual in my fantasies.... just plain sneezing in normal, PG/G rated scenarios. Eventually sneezing it's self, when mentioned in a story I was reading or in a role play I was doing would illicit those same... "physical feelings", you know? :blushing:

Anyway, I (like many of you) always thought I was a freak because of it. that, because of my little games in the shower I had ruined myself for normal desires and normal porn.... I would try to "fix" the "problem" by changing my fantasies when I... "was in the shower".... but the more "normal" fantasies were never as interesting or fun to me. it's not that I couldn't get off on them... it's just that... they weren't AS good....

So then I found out there was an actual sneezing fetish and board and stories and stuff... I started lurking... reading stories and going to Serotica and stuff.... I was still too embarrassed to speak out... Afraid someone would find out about me. But I started to.... sexualize sneezing.... to thinking of it as a sexual thing... to have my fantasy partner do it (or try NOT to do it) in "bed" with me.... while kissing me.... etc, and I told my fiance... who has obliged me to some extent....

Finally, I decided it was a stupid thing to be ashamed of, so I joined up here.

Anyway, that's my whole life story. I'm not sure WHEN it became a "fetish" exactly.

Until my high school years, I was always interested in sneezing. A lot of the shows I watched as a kid used it as a source of humor. I think the first time I really noticed it was in the season 3 premiere of Power Rangers where Kimberly got the flu, either that or Liv Tyler's sneeze in That Thing You Do. During my high school sophomore year, I discovered the SF community while searching for fanfiction. It piqued my curiosity, so I kept going back, and eventually I found myself belonging here.

Wow... what a GREAT question. I've been reading everyone else's answers, though, I and it seems that all of you noticed that you "liked sneezing" before you realized it was a true fetish. I wonder if anyone else out there is like me, though.

I've had it as long as I can possibly remember, though I actually remember HATING it when anyone sneezed because it gave me a weird feeling that I didn't understand, was really too young to understand. I only knew that when it happened around me it made me feel strange like I was throbbing all over, especially in private areas. Having someone sneeze around me was not that big a deal, but having someone talk about sneezing a whole lot or sneeze and then make a big deal of it really bothered me because there was too much focus on it. One of the worst things in the world was cartoon sneezing because as a kid, I was supposed to LIKE watching cartoons but cartoon buildups are SO exaggerated and I would sort of panic watching because I knew what was happening and there was nothing at all I could do to avoid its happening. Everyone else seemed to find the sneezing in cartoons either funny or just not that interesting at all, but I HATED it and I do mean HATED it. The Scooby sneeze that nearly everyone here has seen at some point or another put me off Scooby Doo for years and I can honestly say that I watched Snow White only once and once I knew how much sneezing there was in there, I avoided it with a vengence. My parents were both very LOUD sneezers and my mother especially expected to be blessed every time; I hated it. I SO hated it. All the anxiety wrapped up around it got me to the point where I can absolutely subconsciously repress a sneeze with only a thought. I have not sneezed in public in more years than I can count. I'm in my 30's... and I can't remember sneezing in public during college or high school or middle school... I definitely remember once in 2nd grade... I'm sure it happened later, but certainly not too much later. At any rate, I honestly didn't notice that the feeling was similar to sexual arousal until many years after I was sexually active. I remember watch the Matrix with my first husband and there was that scene where the guy sneezes in the wet wall and gives everyone away. It made me so uncomfortable I simply went off complaining about how it was such a stupid and useless plot devise that everyone uses and for a movie otherwise THAT good, couldn't they possibly come up with something better than that? But later that evening, I put 2 and 2 together. Oh dear. THAT'S weird. Must be something wrong with me, I thought. I think I was probably 22 or 23 years old. I didn't find out that the REST of you were here until at least 7 years later. I still can't STAND to watch, listen to, or read anything with sneezing in it unless I'm 100% alone here at the computer. Of course, when I AM alone... well, look out, you know? Ideally, the what I MOST love to do is calculate when my husband will be coming home, especially if he will arrive late after the children are asleep, and read stories on this site until about 10 minutes before he gets home. That way, when he walks in, all evidence is already deleted from the computer, but I can throw myself at him. He seems to enjoy it too, though I think I would be absolutely mortified if he knew how I got into such a state. Anyone else out there anywhere near as paranoid as I am?

How about the book entitled Stand Back Said the Elephant, I'm Going to Sneeze. I HATED that book, for the same reason I mentioned in my other post. Ugh. Makes me feel all dirty just thinking about my parents insisting upon reading that book to me. YUCK!!

You know what? Me too! I first replied to this topic saying that I was always "captivated" by sneezing one way or another, but to be 100% honest this whole thing started by an aversion to cartoon build-ups, mainly because of your reasons. Then I kinda felt like it was a "fear of sneezing," so I forced myself to Google it and look at stuff... and that's how I found this site.

Don't mention it. It's like my view on the matter took a 180. Until a few years ago I pretty much hated sneezing, like you. But things have obviously changed :winkkiss:...

I do know exactly how you feel. For me I had those kinds of feelings when ever I saw Scooby Doo sneeze and there were other people in the room which luckly only happend once :winkkiss: Even if he didn't sneeze, if I was watching a Scooby cartoon with another person I would have this terrible feeling of dread and I would be like "please Scooby Doo don't sneeze", I just hated it  I believe I posted on here about 4-5 years ago, I was up late just watching TV and talking with my roommate. She was flipping through the channels and stopped on Scooby Doo, it was like torture :(

I believe I have known forever... I can't think of a moment that I didn't know. And I've also known for forever that it 'turned me on'... I don't know how I knew, but I did.

Strange.

One of the first detailed things I remember is when I was little, four or five. I asked my sister "If someone is sick and they make someone else sick, do they keep thier sickness or do they lose it?"

lol
