I read a bunch of random fact books as a kid so I credit pretty much all of my answers to that. Oh, and I've always been a decent guesser.Anyway, awww, so sad it's over, guys! (Isn't hindsight wonderful?! )Average scores of roundsIgnoring bonus points, the average score for each round was as follows:7.73 - Round 1 (Art and Literature)7.76 - Round 2 (Science and Nature)5.73 - Round 3 (Pop Music) - this was the only round where nobody got 10 out of 10 on the "regular" questions6.09 - Round 4 (Food and Drink)6.24 - Round 5 (How Many?)6.60 - Round 6 (TV and Film)7.10 - Round 7 (General Knowledge)Overall average score = 6.75Possible conclusion? - maybe the first two rounds were a little too easy, but the overall average was perhaps "about right"?Easiest QuestionThere was only one question in the entire 7 weeks that every single entrant got right."What is the name of the pigment that makes leaves green?" (answer = chlorophyll)Hardest QuestionOnly 4 entrants out of 23 got the following question correct."Which cocktail would the following ingredients make?.....white rum, lime juice and sugar syrup" (answer = daiquiri)And finally, finally......Number of Doctor Who questions in the quiz = ONLY ONE! Although- one *could* hypothetically count the bonus question in the last round as pun"ish" (no... not pun"ish"ment ), as we *know* (in retrospect that you just *had* to get your 555 in there) Thanks SO muchly!And I normally do *not* say this, so feel special.... yay for stats!
