I loved adding Misha and Mark to that scene! Loved the idea of Jensen falling asleep on Misha's shoulder *squee* Hope you liked it

Well you've added another fan to your lot :) I'm so mishaholic it hurts :P There's a few part I really loved :

Misha smiled and put an arm around his buddy, pulling him close. Jensen leaned his head on Misha’s shoulder.

“Awww,” Misha laughed, “You sneeze on me and I’ll punch you in the balls.”

So LOLed at that :)

“You’re really hot, you know that?” Misha craned his head to look in Jensen’s eyes, but they were closed.

“Man, I’m really comfortable, don’t make it weird,” Jensen relaxed further into Misha’s side.

Also here :)

Jensen had his eyes closed, he finally felt warm with Misha’s arm wrapped around him. He was as comfortable as he could be, while he couldn’t breathe through his nose and his throat gnawed at him relentlessly. He felt his head start to dip more towards Misha’s chest as consciousness began to elude him. Then he felt something cold and wet graze up the side of his face. He opened his eyes and struggled away. Clif was standing in front of him with his camera out, while Misha licked his face.

“Aw, seriously,” Jensen moved away from Misha and wiped the spit off his face with his sleeve. “That’s so not cool.”

“Sorry,” Clif said, putting his phone away.

“Send me that photo, I wanna make it my wallpaper,” Misha laughed.

“Gosh, you guys suck,” Jensen was still rubbing as if he couldn’t get his face clean.

Althou I know you can't catch a cold or the flu by licking someone's face, I really really would like to see Misha catch it.

Yeah it's so fun to see all the people you're adding to the story. Feels like we're really in the green room with them :)

*Squeals* Oh! All I wanted was a long comment like this! Glad you felt my story was good enough to pull apart like that and tell me what your favourite bits were. Love it, love it, love it!

I thought about making Misha sick... Hmmm... I'm planning on continuing this story through to the boys being on set and filming so I could always add Misha to the fun... :P

Stay tuned. ;)

Oh oh, and Mark, and I totally think Mark should get it before Misha and he be like, what the heck, you licked his face and I get sick. Just a suggestion. Just you continuing this is AMAZING, however you see fit.

PART 11

Jared and Jensen had managed to struggle down half their lunch. Jared wasn’t really a soup person, but it was warm and it helped ease the tightness in his chest. He was lying on the couch in Jensen’s room, listening to Jensen in the kitchen. His stomach was now flip-flopping and maybe lying down wasn’t such a good idea. He sat up and ghosted a hand across his stomach.

“Urgh, man, that soup ain’t sitting right.”

Jensen raised an eyebrow, “Well, just aim for the toilet if you have to. Housekeeping just cleaned up in there.”

Jared groaned again and put his head down, “Uh, God.”

“Here,” Jensen said, padding over to the couch in bare feet, “One of these is for nausea.”

He chucked a box to Jared and he caught it in his left, used to having to favour his right since his shoulder injury. He dry swallowed the little pill and leant back on the couch, breathing through his mouth.

“Y’alright?” Jensen was standing by him.

Jared opened his eyes, “Yeah,” he nodded, “I think I’m good.”

“Just keep that down and ya will be,” Jensen said, walking back into the kitchen to line up his pills and pour out his cough syrup.

Jared closed his eyes again. He could hear Jensen sniffling.

He’SHHUu! Hih’KSCHUUuuhh! Urgh…

Jared almost drifted off…

Huh’EKCSHHUu! Uh, son of a…”

Jared cracked an eye open. Jensen was wincing and clutching his throat.

“Hey,” Jared called. Jensen didn’t move, eyes slammed shut. “What’s going on?”

Jensen shook his head, then blinked wide a few times like he was fighting to keep focus.

“I don’t know, man. Throat’s killing…”

“Do you want me to look in your mouth?”

Jensen looked disgusted, “No, I don’t want you to look in my mouth. Freak,” he muttered. He swallowed a pill with a grimace, “Gosh, it’s agony.”

“Man, I’ve lost most of my voice and even mine doesn’t hurt that much.”

It was true. Jared’s voice was a rasp. A thin veil of what it normally was. But his throat didn’t really hurt. His chest, his nose, his head, his stomach, his bones and his skin ached, but not his throat.

“Well, good for you,” Jensen whined, “Sorry,” he said after a while, trying to check his bad attitude.

“Nah, man. It’s alright,” Jared sat forward, body jerking with coughs.

“Hey,” Jensen walked over to him, holding out a bag of eucalyptus drops.

“Thanks,” Jared said, reaching for one.

Jensen sat down beside him and Jared chanced a glance to his left. He had his eyes closed tight, brow furrowed, head tilted back. A drop of sweat tickled down his temple, and Jared grimaced.

“You really look like shit.”

Jensen opened his eyes, spared a sideways glance, “You’re not so hot either, gigantor.”

Jared laughed, then sat forward coughing into his fist. He breathed wheezily. “I just wish I could breathe through my nose, man.”

Huh’KSCHHKKEW!” Jensen snapped forward with a strong, sudden sneeze.

“Whoa, you alright?” Jared observed Jensen in his unchanging position, eyes wide, like he was in pain.

“That was a bad one,” he groaned, rubbing his throat and leaning back again.

“Clif’s going to kill us if he comes in and we aren’t sleeping,” Jared pointed out.

“Yeah,” Jensen’s voice crackled, “I’m going to go to bed.”

Jared nodded as Jensen lumbered to his feet and stumbled through to the bedroom. He was a bit concerned over his friend. Jared may have been losing his voice but Jensen sounded like he was gargling underwater. There wasn’t much time to think of anything else though, as his eyelids drifted shut and he fell asleep sitting up.

Jensen couldn’t sleep. He pressed the blanket to his mouth as he coughed almost constantly. He could hear Jared snoring lightly in the other room and didn’t want to wake him, but he couldn’t keep it quiet, and he couldn’t stop dammit. He’d taken everything he possibly could. He felt like week old road kill. All he could think of was his poor baby girl feeling as sick as this, at not even two years of age. He wanted to cry. And Jensen freaking Ackles did not cry.

“Hey, you alright?”

Clif was standing next to the bed, interrupting his most recent coughing fit.

Jensen sat up, “This is awful, man.”

“I’ll say. You sleep at all?”

Jensen shook his head.

“The big one’s still snoozing,” he gestured with a thumb over his shoulder.

“Right,” Jensen croaked, clearing his throat and wincing.

“If you’re still wanting to go through with the convention you better wake his ass up in a few. I’ll be back to get you.”

Jensen nodded, avoiding speaking all together.

Clif gave him a worried glance and left.

Jensen coughed again, leaning forward with his elbows on his knees. His throat was a new kind of pain now, he could hardly focus on anything else.

He dragged himself to his feet and went to wake the moose. He kicked him gently in the shin. Jared groggily opened his eyes, sitting up straight.

Jensen pointed to the ceiling, telling him it was time to get up without really telling him.

“What’s going on?” Jared looked at his watch, scrubbed his face then looked back at Jensen, “What’s wrong with you?”

“It hurts,” he grumbled, gesturing to his throat.

Jared made a sympathetic face and stood up slowly.

“Do you, uh…” Jensen stumbled, “Could you…” Jensen waved a hand around his throat, unable to ask.

Jared broke into a smile.

“I thought you didn’t want me to?” He laughed, raising his eyebrow.

“Come on, dude. I…” Jensen swallowed again, wincing and furrowing his brow.

“Alright, alright,” Jared spared him the pain and pulled his phone out of his pocket turning on the flashlight, “Open up.”

Jensen tilted his head back and opened wide, allowing Jared to shine the flashlight in.

“Jesus, Jensen,” Jared gasped, staring down into Jensen’s mouth.

“What?” Jensen muffled, mouth still hanging open.

“I think you’ve got tonsillitis, man,” Jared turned the torch off and stood back.

Jensen straightened up, clutching at his adam’s apple.

“Haven’t had that in nearly ten years,” Jensen said in disbelief.

“Yeah, season one, I remember. Why haven’t you had them out yet?”

Jensen shrugged, thought better of answering.

“Dude, we need to get a doctor. It’s pretty bad in there.”

Jensen swallowed slowly, “Fuck.”

Nice throw back to season 1! ;-) OH man, Tonsillitis is no fun but your writing is awesome!!! Can't wait to see this spreading around. I mean, he almost coughed on Misha for Chuck's sake and that stuff can be catchy!

“Yeah, alright,” he coughed again, eyebrows knitting together as it tore at his throat.

Misha rubbed his back.

And Misha with a Cas sick voice... OMG bliss

Can't wait to see this in a set setting... this is gonna be even more awesome!

PART 12

Clif had called the doctor and he was at least another hour away. Jensen was not backing out of the photo op at this stage. All he had to do was stand there and smile. How hard could it be?

Jeffrey Dean was standing in the kitchen, arms folded across his chest, hip resting against the bench, eyes half lidded, still a little hung over from the Saturday night festivities.

“Dudes,” he said, voice rough as usual, “I’m okay if you don’t do this. You gotta look after yourselves.”

“Jeff,” Jared pressed his palm to his chest as his breath rattled, “The fan’s have done so much to get here. A lot of them for this photo. I think I speak for both of us,” he glanced at Jensen, “when I say, we’re not backing out.”

Jeff laughed and looked down, shaking his head.

“We got on this train a long time ago,” Jared smiled, “We’re not getting off now!”

“Alright. Hell, I’m in,” Jeff said.

“Time to go?” Jensen rasped, as Clif came in the room, hanging up his phone.

“Yeah, doc had an emergency to get to. He’s not going to be here until 4.”

“Sweet,” Jensen clapped his hands together, “Got time for the panel too. Let’s get downstairs.”

He shouldered past Clif and exited the room into the hall. Clif stared at Jared, eyebrows raised. He didn’t even have to say anything, Jared knew what he was worried about.

“I’ll look after him,” Jared assured him, “The doc’s not getting here until 4, so he may as well…”

I’ll look after him,” Jeff chimed in, putting a hand on Jared’s shoulder, “You look after you, dude.”

“I’m – f-fine… Huh’SCHKUu!” Jared ducked away from Jeff and sneezed into his elbow.

Jeff just laughed.

“You coming or not?” Jensen stuck his head back in the door, massaging his adam’s apple.

“Yup,” Jared agreed, quickly, pulling a tissue out of his pocket to wipe his streaming nose.

Jeff looked at Clif once they were alone in the room, “When did they become actual Winchesters?”

Jeff was honestly surprised by the boy’s stamina. Jared was pausing to sneeze in between every few photos, he was pressing in on his temples subtly when he thought no one was watching. Jensen, he hadn’t heard say a word in the hour they were in the booth, but he was smiley and stood there through all the photos, even as he winced and swallowed and coughed into his sleeve. He was astounded. But had he expected any less from them? Not really.

“Well, that’s it. We did it,” Jeff smiled at the haggard men standing in front of him, as the volunteers closed off the photo booth.

“What were you so worried about?” Jensen whispered, gulping afterwards.

“Hey, it can talk!” Jeff put an arm around Jensen.

“Alright,” Jared clapped his hands together, “Panel?”

Clif stepped over, “Let’s take a little break before the panel. Couple of minutes, have a sit down…”

“Not a bad idea,” Jensen croaked.

Jared sniffed, “Hey, Jensen.”

“What?”

“You got any tissues?”

Jared had gone through his whole tissue supply during the photo op. He was sure he’d rubbed his nose red, but it was so itchy.

Jensen reached into his pocket and pulled out a crumpled but clean tissue and handed it to Jared. Jared grabbed it gratefully and delicately fitted it around his nose.

Hih’KSCHUu! Huh’SCHUUuu! Et’CHKSOo!”

“Bless you, son,” Jeff’s hand gripped the back of Jared’s neck. It felt nice and cool. “You’re burning, Jay,” he added.

Jared shrugged, discarding the now used tissue.

They made their way to the green room. Jensen was quiet. It was a little unnerving for Jared. Jensen was his best friend and he’d never known him to be this quiet. He knew he was hurting. They were both hurting. But Jensen was also quiet when he was worried, and this working through it thing, was just a way to ignore how sick he really was and to put off the inevitable. He thought if he ignored it then it would just go away, but Jared knew it wasn’t going to go away, and filming was going to be much harder, for both of them.

Jared snapped forward with another sneeze, bringing his elbow up just in time.

Jesus Christ,” He groaned, sniffing thickly.

They walked into the green room and Misha and Mark happened to be there, which meant…

“Oh, god, here come the biohazards,” Mark whined, getting up from his seat and moving to a far corner of the room, “Don’t let them near the food.”

“Aw,” Misha laughed, looking sympathetically at them.

“Shut up, Shep,” Jared rasped, flopping down on the couch, “I’ll pick you up again.”

“Keep him away from me, Clif,” Mark protested, “I don’t want the plague.”

“Oh, I’ll so laugh if you get sick,” Jensen sighed, sitting down next to Misha.

“Hey, if anyone’s getting sick it’s Misha! He was the one cuddling you and licking your face!”

Misha combed his fingers through Jensen’s hair lovingly, “Mark, you’ve met my kids, I’m pretty much immune to everything now.”

“And we weren’t cuddling,” Jensen snapped, “Get off me,” he knocked Misha’s hand away. Misha giggled like a child.

“Yeah, yeah, we’ll see,” Mark said, wide toothy smile. He liked to make fun of them, only because in this state he knew they couldn’t do anything about it. But he wasn’t cold hearted, he was concerned, as they all were.

“You’ve all got to work tomorrow, so I would be looking after yourselves,” Clif weighed in.

Heh’KSCHEW! Huh-Eh’KISCHOo!”

Jared looked up to see Jensen’s hand round his nose, eyes shut.

“Bless,” Misha said, handing Jensen the tissue box.

Jensen sniffed as he grabbed a few and blew his nose quietly. Jared saw him discreetly wiping some tears away too.

“Man…” Jared sighed, “Maybe we shouldn’t do the panel.”

“Wha…” Jensen’s voice caught and he coughed into a fist, until there were more tears in his eyes.

“You’re killing yourself, Jensen.”

“You’re just as sick as I am!” Jensen shouted, causing him to clutch his throat and grimace, turning his head away.

“I know… I mean, that’s what I mean. I have no voice left and it hurts you too much to talk. We have to work tomorrow, dude.”

Clif handed Jensen a water bottle, seeing how hard it was for him to swallow. It took a few sips before he could answer.

“Maybe you’re right,” he winced.

“He’s absolutely right,” Misha said, being serious for a minute (which rarely ever happened!), “Mark and I have a break now, we’ll fill in for you.”

Jared looked up, “Shep?”

Mark stepped closer, “Yeah, man. Of course.”

Jared glanced at Jensen, shrugged, waiting for the okay.

“Yeah… that’d be great, fellas,” Jensen smiled, weakly.

“Finally,” Clif sighed.

New antibiotics are finally working! Yaaaaay! Feeling much better today and have a new update heading your way (that rhymed!) Thanks so much for the support. I'm really excited to get the boys back on set and start writing some contagion... Stay tuned for some contagion.... Seriously, you should ;) ALSO, really excited about the stuff going on at Asylum 14 over the weekend. If you didn't see, Jensen took a photo of sleeping Jared, making my previous chapters canon-ish. lol (Sorry I'm a little hyper for some reason) Oh! and here's another chapter. Love to all.

PART 13

“Well, there’s no doubt about it,” Dr. Haynes said, tossing the tongue depressor in the bin, “That’s a pretty good case of tonsillitis in there. It’s come on awfully fast as well,” he lent over his bag and started riffling through equipment.

“What does that mean?” Jensen asked.

“Are you allergic to penicillin?” Dr. Haynes turned back to him.

Jensen shook his head.

“Alright, I’m going to give you a shot, but I really think you need to go to the hospital and have some IV antibiotics, preferably for the night.”

Jensen cast wild eyes at Jared and Clif.

“Nah, we have to get on a plane tonight back to Vancouver. We have filming tomorrow,” Jared said, coming and sitting next to Jensen, putting a hand on his shoulder.

Dr. Haynes sighed, “I can give you some strong oral antibiotics, but if you want to get better quickly, which I’m assuming you do, you really need to go to a hospital, and long term, make some preparations at getting those tonsils out.”

Jensen nodded again, seeming a little dazed. He flinched as the needle went in.

Jared coughed, then stood up and walked towards the window till he could get himself under control.

When Jared turned back Dr. Haynes was staring at him over his reading glasses.

“I’ll get to you in a minute,” he warned.

Jensen held his hand over the sight of injection, swallowing painfully again.

“Have you been able to get liquids down?” Dr. Haynes asked, raising a concerned eyebrow.

Jensen smirked a little, “It’s painful,” he sighed, honestly.

The doc nodded, “I know, but honestly, the more you drink the easier it’ll get. It’s going to thin that mucus down, make it less irritating on your throat.”

“’Kay, doc,” Jensen looked up at Clif.

“He needs his voice,” Clif said, stepping over to them, sitting down on the arm of the lounge, “They both do. What should they do?”

“I’ll write down the name of a drink you can get at the pharmacy, that’ll help. Other than that, talk as little as possible, drink lots of water, try and breathe through your nose…”

Jared laughed, mainly because the idea of breathing through his nose seemed to be a distant memory.

Dr. Haynes ignored him and grabbed his thermometer out of his bag.

“I’ll just take your temperature, then I’ll take a look at you, Mr. Padalecki.”

Jensen’s temperature was too high, entering into dangerous territory again. The doctor hummed with concern. He seemed to be doing that a lot.

“Okay,” he said, sitting back and clasping his hands in front of him, “Usually a low grade fever is nothing to worry about. It’s the body’s way of fighting the infection, but when it gets too high it begins to do more damage than good. When you shiver, your body is trying to warm up, so it’s good to try and get warm to stop that shivering… there’s a point where that no longer works. We’re passed that point, Mr. Ackles. I would recommend a cool shower, not cold, and keeping the layers to a minimum, until that fever comes down.”

“You’re the boss,” Jensen looked sheepish.

Dr. Haynes wrote out his prescriptions for Jensen before he started to examine Jared, who’s overall prognosis wasn’t much better than Jensen’s, although he wasn’t recommended to the hospital.

Jared had a high fever too, but the viral infection had stayed in the ‘virus’ category and he didn’t need antibiotics. He was prescribed pills for the nausea though. Even as he sat there he was having a hard time keeping his lunch down.

“Give me another call if you have any concerns, but for the mean time just rest. Mr. Ackles, it would be wise for you to go straight to the hospital as soon as you land in Vancouver. Trust me, you’ll feel better after a night there. They can help you out more than anything else can.”

And like that he was gone. Jensen was a little taken aback by the exchange, for one he thought this doctor was far too forward and sticking his nose where it didn’t belong. Urgh, maybe he was just angry at himself, or his tonsils at least.

“Damn, stupid tonsils,” he muttered after Dr. Haynes had left.

“You heard the man,” Clif came around to stand in front of Jensen, “What do you want to do?”

“I think…” he started, “I… I don’t know. I’m beyond exhausted, and I’m sweating, and shaking. I just, I want to sleep.”

Jared sniffled and scrubbed his nose with the palm of his hand.

“Yeah, dude. We’ll just… huh’... we’ll just sleep unti-hih, until we… Heh’KSCHUu! Until the flight,” Jared shoved his face into his elbow, “Huh’SCXHUu! At’TCHOo!

“Bless you,” Clif pulled out a couple of tissues from the box and handed them to Jared.

“I’m just going to do what he said,” Jensen swallowed, massaged his forehead with his fingers, “I’m going to take a shower, drink a liter of water, and sleep till we have to go.”

Jared sniffed, “Good plan. Me too,” he agreed.

“You want help getting to the bathroom?” Clif asked Jensen.

“Nah, I’m good,” Jensen sighed as he got up.

Luckily Jared was standing next to Jensen because as soon as he was upright he blanched and was on a quick way down to the floor. Jared gripped his bicep firmly and pulled him up, Clif swooping in on his other side.

“Yeah, you’re fine,” Clif would have laughed if he weren’t so freaking worried.
