Christ almighty. I was going to go out today but now I think I should fly somewhere and meet up with Purple and Spoo so we can all collectively sit in a circle and sob with job. *what an image*

I can't even.....this is ridiculous. Between the three of us, we must be really good people for the fetish gods to gift us such a goldmine...

Dead. I am. Incoherent also slightly.

Um. Times Talks March 23 (Or maybe 3rd, I'm distracted) 2010. Promoting the Last Station and talking about his acting career. Find it on iTunes.

Guys I'm not even joking.

Topics include his "period nose" that has gotten him roles in period films and why he enjoyed "Sneezing his fucking head off."

my ovaries are no longer.

I think I might die.

From TIFF, September 10th, 2007.

James McAvoy was nursing a cold, sitting in front of a pitcher of orange juice and two boxes of cold medicine. But he's soldiering on, since Toronto is all about promotion and this year he's got only one movie here -- "Atonement," co-starring Keira Knightley -- rather than three like last year, when he was in "Last King of Scotland," "Starter for Ten" and "Penelope."

"Atonement," directed by Joe Wright and adapted by Christopher Hampton, is based on the novel by Ian McEwan and I would suggest you do what I did: see the movie, then crack open the book. If you read the novel beforehand, you will have a different filmgoing experience.

McAvoy said he read the script and considered it incredible.

"And I thought if I don't get the part, I'm just not reading the book, because it will just be too hard. I really, really wanted the role and I knew that I could have a good experience making it and would enjoy making it and, also, the opportunity to work with Joe who I think is one of a kind, really. I knew that reading the book would be devastating, so I left that until I got the part."

He plays Robbie Turner, the educated son of the housekeeper to a wealthy British family in the 1930s who is caught between two worlds and social classes. He carries a torch for the family's elder daughter but it's her precocious younger sister who changes all of their fates when she accuses him of a crime he did not commit.

If you thought he was good in "Becoming Jane," just wait until you see him here. And yes, his eyes really are that blue, even when under the weather. "Atonement" is scheduled to open in December, and there will be much more on McAvoy, writer Hampton and the movie down the road.

Oh my dear lord. Apologies for double posting, but...

From: http://www.post-gazette.com/stories/ae/movies/movies-star-learns-unforgiving-nature-of-war-516052/

McAvoy, a 28-year-old from Glasgow, may regularly be called a heartthrob (he married actress Anne-Marie Duff a year ago), but on this day, he was another actor greeting interviewers in a hotel room every 20 minutes -- while nursing an ill-timed cold. He had orange juice, water and cold medicine on a table in front of him, and his expressive blue eyes looked slightly weary.

WWAAAAAAAAHHHHHH

This seems to be the James McAvoy Love Post, so I'm just going to fling this here~ xDDDD

Seriously, this man is delicious~

Spoo and Purple, I wish I had caught on to his amazingness as early as you two had~ x'DDDD

This might already be here, but it's an interview with him talking about his sneezing in The Last Station, and how he had to develop his own personal tic to pull it off~

YUM~ :3

I will never tire of reading this article and imagining how he may have 'practiced....'

So, I might just be spamming this topic by now, but every time I find something I'm like, MUST. SHARE.

So. Um. I found this, and I melted a wee bit (more)

When McAvoy arrives for this interview in a Toronto hotel bar a few days after a film festival screening of Atonement, he chooses a seat beneath a large plate-glass window, where the even fall of midday light-painter's light-allows a close study of his aquamarine eyes, as well as his lumpy nose and Glaswegian pallor. (The plum circles beneath his eyes are further darkened today by the effects of a chest cold.) There is a quality of the gray north about McAvoy, a hint of inner life touched by secret emotion, which is just enough to save him from being the next Hugh Grant. "There is," says Wright, "something inherently working class about him."

And here is a photo from that same interview...

Thank you very much, I'll just roll into a ball and melt now!

Oh wait, I've forgotten how to move...

Jesus Christ. This man. I just...I really can't. We've seen that pose in other pictures, my fellow McAvoyeurs. It's become my personal head canon that he grabs his nose when he sneezes. UGHHHH. JAMESSSSSS. :stretcher:

Link to comment

UNF! Jaaaaaaames! Don't ever Stop it! I can't handle any more of this! :stretcher:

James grabbing his nose when he sneezes is totally my head cannon too Spoo. I can't picture it any other way anymore.

Link to comment

Oh. My. God. Well...I was going to get things done today but James again ruins all plans for productivity. I can't even handle him. He's like the sniffliest, twitchiest king of the lumpy nose and poor immunity EVER. I don't even know what to think anymore. It's like practically canon that he'll get some sort of illness or injury at some point during filming anything. It's insane.

I've never been more consumed with lust. hahaha

PS, Purple, you are MY HERO. *sends you virtual sloppy kisses and hugs and flowers and chocolate*. The master list is a masterpiece.

Also..can we discuss that Filth interview? I mean...white henley shirt.....he should ALWAYS wear shirts like that. ALWAYS. He looks so snuggley sleepy adorable.

Link to comment

It's not much, but at 4:06 there's a pair of lovely, up-close nose rubs.

jesus christ it's going to be such a happy day the day we finally find a clip of james sneezing.

I think all of our lives will be complete xD
