Martin's voice in that scene was PERFECTION. His breathing was so snuffly that I thought I was imagining things at first, but I checked again, and WOW. That must've been one hell of a cold.

And that Benedict gif is delicious indeed... I'm pretty sure it's from the War Horse interviews, but I think we'd know if there was an actual sneeze somewhere in there

Also, slightly but not completely off-topic: Earlier in this thread there was some talk about Ben having a cold while filming Sherlock. That was the episode that airs tonight, wasn't it? Let's pray it'll be noticeable in his voice

That said, there's a mistake in that report: he was nominated as ensemble for two things, but "Sherlock" wasn't one of them; they were "12 Years a Slave" and "August: Osage County". (What, me, OCD? )

The movie is called Wreckers, and it's one of my favourite Cumberbatch films. A slow, dark indie drama with very ambiguous characters. It's not for everyone but I highly recommend it.

My girlfriend made gifs of this interview and focused on his face while he was wrinkling his nose and sneezing just for me. And it was absolutely glorious.
