I love the look of genuine fear on Nat's face in the close up Poor thing, Jona really should have prepared her for what he was getting her into with grumpy bosses and crazy Frenchmen!

I really like how the dialogue wanders off the page in the last panel, it gives a wonderful sense of momentum and inanity. XD

And such poofy poofy hair! I want to touch it too! Although I would be nice and not tug on it so much.

Given the ability, I would dress that way every day for the rest of my insane life. But sadly I don't own enough three-piece suits, and I don't have the time or money for that much drycleaning.

I love the little touch of color. It really helps to set up the feel. I keep seeing the green, even in the other frames where it's white again.

Hmm; I think I've got a blue-green paisley waistcoat; I've certainly got a dark red one. Of course ideally it should be the backing of the waistcoat which is paisley patterned [and of course the lining of the jacket]. I think such an outfit is worn by Michael York's character in Murder on the Orient Express [1974].

Nicholas is absolutely adorable. I love his little quirks, like his French and his hands and his goofy grin :] Also - the last panel in 19 is simply stunning. The pattern on Jonathan's waistcoat is hypnotizing - and then the luscious curves of his neck and collarbone, unf. I'm gay and I'm in love with your male characters. That should say something, haha.

Thank you muchly for the necktie tutorial. I've actually been meaning to learn how to tie one of those tiny little triangular knots instead of the big, clunky square ones that I usually do. Maybe this'll help me a bit. xD

Sorry this is becoming a male fashion thread, but you started it....

I'd forgotten Count Thing had a double-breasted lapelled waistcoat, but phwoar! I think I've only ever had about two of those. I checked the film too and there is one brief shot at the end of his questioning where you can see that the backing is of white silk with a paisley pattern, it appeaars; so even phwoarer....

I've never understood why people turn their collars down AFTER tying their ties; it is difficult and creases the colllar terribly. Much easier to place the tie round the neck of an unbuttoned shirt, THEN turn down the collar, which holds the tie in its little groove, and then do up the top button before tying the tie. Just a thought.
