I would never rat someone out even if I got really mad at them, but I don't think most people are like that about secrets. For most people, it's like money burning a hole in their pockets. So you chat with your good friend who does a lot of creative writing but have to carefully avoid going into what your stories are actually about. And then you're complain about being stuck on a part and they suggest you read it to them and they can give you ideas and you're just like, uhhh....actually...it's kind of private... That was probably my worst lesson ever, I couldn't concentrate because I was uncomfortable listening to her blows and sneezes all the time. I really like her, but I can't stand my friend's sneezes And when literally everyone around you is sick and they keep talking about their symptoms all the time and all you can do is pretending to be extremely focused on something so they won't ask for your opinion... Sneesee Posted March 12, 2018 Share Posted March 12, 2018 (edited) When your man casually mentions on the phone how he hopes he isn’t getting sick again (less than a month from his last cold), and then proceeds to explain the sore throat he acquired the night before, and how he could feel it “up there” in his nose in the morning. And you are torn because part of you would love to see him sick again, but part of you would feel really bad if he did get sick since he is on vacation this week, and you don’t really want him feeling miserable. Also you don’t want him sick on his birthday in a few days. But you will be also spending his birthday with him, and wouldn't mind him being extra sneezy.
